Birthday girl!

2 already? What is this... My little lady can't really be 2?!

Yesterday was such a great day. Jo is figuring this birthday stuff out and she really likes it. We went swimming yesterday, decorated cupcakes and had a little family party. She loved every minute!
Right before we headed over to her birthday party, she was skipping from room to room saying, "birthday, me, birthday, birthday, me!"
Jo and I had such a fun time decorating these little animal cupcakes. They aren't professional but Jo loved putting the marshmallows on the lambs and the chocolate chips for eyes.
Daddy's girl
Kazer man loved the chocolate horse.
Thanks to Uncle Cody, he had his first cupcake.

And he loved it!
He was practicing for his birthday!
Jaxie and Jo
Best friends (most of the time)
Jo was on cloud nine when we sang Happy Birthday to her.
She thought it was pretty special that everyone was singing to her.

Our little Saloon Girl!

Birthday barn from Mom and Dad!
Poor Wamma had to stay and play horse the whole party. She seriously loved her barn... we finally found a toy that she will actually play with! Score one for mom and dad!

Daddy says I can't date until I'm 30!
So true.. But Cod usually says 35-40.
Rope from Great grandpa Brent
Rylan wrote on the tag, Don't rope too many little cowboys!
Got him!

Get him girls!

All in all we had great time. Last night we let her stay up and play with her barn until 11pm while we watched the Olympics and she was up at 5am ready to play with her harses again...

PS today was Jo's 2 yr checkup and shots. She weighed 29 lbs (75%) and was 36 inches tall (90%). The doc says she's probably not going to be an Olympic gymnast with her height and weight but she's very healthy!

Happy Birthday Baby! I mean Toddler!

Dear Jo,

Happy birthday to my favorite little girl! You are seriously the cutest and funniest little person I know. Your dad and I love you more than words can describe and we are so proud and privileged to by your parents. That's right, you're the center of our universe!
Right now, you are talking so well. You copy cat just about everything we do and say. (Not always good!) You have the cutest curls and your eyes are still that perfect shade of blue. You've learned how to throw a pretty good temper tantrum and know exactly what to do to get your way.
You are our little cowgirl through and through! You can't get enough of animals and we are constantly following you around Grandma's house making sure your not climbing the fence to get in with the HARSES! (which you usually are!) Your poor rocking horse are just about worn out from you riding, roping and dragging them all though the house!
Although you love being outside and rolling in the dirt, you love wearing your Rella jammies and looking like a princess. You try to wear my heels through the house and some days all you want to wear is a dress.
You are the best little mommy to your babies. Just the other night, you were pretending to put your babies down for bed and you were saying a prayer with them: "Heavenly Father, Heavenly Father, Heavenly Father, Amen!" Seriously it melted my heart.
And your are always looking after your cousin Jaxie and Kazden. Always sharing treats with them, your still getting better about sharing toys. You make Jax hold your hand (even though she usually doesnt want to) and you lead her around like she's your child. You try to read books to her and Mr Kaz loves you! You try to carry Mr. K but he's just about as big as you.
Just like me, you have a very tender heart. Almost every time you watch Homeward Bound, you cry for the puppies; those poor puppies that get left behind. And when they found their owners you started laughing then broke out in sobs because you were so happy!
I always what you to remember how much your mom and dad love you and what we are trying to teach you is for your own good/safety. We will always be here for you and no matter what, we will always love you.
Two years ago, my world was turned upside down but I wouldn't want it any other way! I wouldn't want to do anything else other than be your Mom! Your the best Daughter I could ask for!

Love you so much! "Love you much," is what you always say!

Love, Mom!
