So....
Jo loves her 'Rella' jammies. She seriously wears them every.other.night! She'd wear them all day, every day if I'd let her. And just about every time she wears them I have a fight on my hands trying to get her out of them, and this morning showed no difference.
She had a HUGE break down when I tried to take them off her... she threw herself on the floor, kicked, screamed, and when she found the chance, she took off her other clothes and tried to put those darn jammies back on!
So people of the UB, don't judge us if you see me walking through town with a daughter wearing jammies in the middle of the day. I do wash her clothes, I do style her hair and she does have other clothes, she just chooses to love these!
Is it just a little girl thing or do boys do the same thing?

With this whole house planning process, I've been pretty excited about picking out flooring, wall colors, cabinets, etc... while Cody hasn't been to into it. I want everything picked out right then so when we leave we know exactly what we want.
Needless to say, the salesman have a little less selling to do with me, while Cody is harder to satisfy....
But this all changed on Saturday when we stopped at the tub place. Yes, of all the things we've had to pick out, this was the thing Cody is most excited about! He was wide eyed and bushy tail to go sit in him custom tub. Seriously?!
When we left the TUBZZ place, he was grinning ear to ear and said, "I can not wait to try that thing out!"
Hmmm my big strong man has a sensitive side!

What Mommy does at nap time!
Here are some of the projects I've been working on this summer.
I have a few not finished but little projects keep me sane in such a little apartment!
I made this little quilt for the Zilles' newest family member:
Coleson James
Cody and Dallie gave me this for mother day,
I absolutely love it!
And I just had to try the chevron stripes.... let me add they turned out cute but there were a bugger to tape off and paint! (Someone's got to have an easier painting strategy!)
I know it doesn't look like much but with my busy Jober that's about all I have time for!

New do!
Okay, So yesterday I was freaking out over nothing!
Her new little hair do is pretty cute and Cody really liked it too.
Oh the things Mammas worry about!
me stuck!
While Dallie Jo was sick last week, we had more than our fair share of Popsicles!
On this particular day she was feeling alot better and I was in my room folding clothes when I hear....
"Mom! Me stuck!"
Of course I had to grab a picture!
Needless to say, she hasn't been bucket diving since...

Cody kept telling me to get Jo's hair cut, so I took the plunge and had her hair trimmed today and.....
A little more was cut than I had expected. BUT she still looks pretty cute, her hair has a cute little bob shape and it's not a mullet any more.
With every scissor cut my heart sank.
Its cute, don't get me wrong, but she's so grown up now and I liked her little curls. On the flip side, it is fuller and thicker filling and looking.
Its fine, it'll grow back (RIGHT?!) Awe! I hope Cody doesn't kill me...
I want to cry!

Let me just start with... Miss Jo is a stinker! ha ha
Last night after getting Jo all dried and dressed after her bath I was in cooking dinner and I couldn't hear her any more. So I ran into her room to see what she was getting into and there she was, naked as a jay bird standing on her wicker basket shoe box.
I asked her if she needed to go potty and she said, "No I go!" I move the basket and sure enough she had piddled on her basket lid, which went all over all her shoes and onto the floor! And lets just add that if you get a wicker basket wet that has been stained, the stain doesn't stay on very well.... So the piddle wasn't clear any more it had now turned black!
Yep, that was our night. After getting all her shoes washed, the floor and the basket washed I was pretty ready for bed. Actually I was pretty ready for her to go to bed!
Oh the joys of potty training!
