cowgirl

Cowgirl Dallie Jo
These are pretty dark but you can still see her little face and her HUGE white, lil cowgirl flower.
And of course every cowgirl needs a cowgirl hat. Too bad the only ones we had were too little or too big... Still a cutie though!

This hat used to be my cousin Chase's cowboy hat. It kept falling into her eyes and she thought she needed to eat it!

We just about died laughing at Dallie and her little expressions. She loved being center of attention and everyone loves playing with her.

Blue mountain

Blue Mountain, CO
Conference weekend my family went for a LONG ride up Blue Mountain in Colorado. We had a good time but the ride was so long. Dallie Jo was such a good girl the whole time.
We went on a little hike up the mountain to see where the Green River and the Yampa river meet. It was a beautiful hike; kinda long carrying a little chubby baby, but the view as so awesome.

Coder is my water carrier! This picture says it all... We have so much fun!
That's the Green River behind us, we were along way up there!
Down in the bottle of the valley there was an old Ranch called the Mantle Ranch. This Ranch seriously was in the very bottom of the valley. One of the stories about the Mantle Family was the wife having to ride a horse, 8 months pregnant to Vernal to have her baby. I'm not sure how far the ride would be, but it took us several house to get to the house in our trucks. I can't imagine riding a horse being 8 months prego but riding out of the valley would be terrible!
Double Seater Out House! Take your Honey to the potty with you! ha ha

We had a good time, We were super tired of driving by the end but it was great to get out and see something different. Thanks, Aunt Susan Thacker and Uncle Todd for guiding us around.

Pehrson weekend

For Dallie Jo's blessing, the whole Pehrson Family came out to support us and we loved having them come. We just chilled, rode horses and showed them around Altamont. The kids were so fun to play with. They ALL wanted to got with Uncle Cody! So the whole time we had a full back seat of carseats and little hands helping with Dallie. We LOVE the nieces and nephews to come and visit. NEVER a dole moment!
I love this picture so much!
Keegan and Lexie love Dallie Jo so much! They just wanted to sit and hold her all day. My sister in law Ashley would ask Lex if she was done holding her and before she could even finish her sentence Lexie was like NO!

I guess Cody and I are known as the Aunt and Uncle who has connections to horse. So we took them to my Grandpa's and we let them ride his horses. They loved it, We walked them around, and around, and around the field.

This is Kolbin, he is a real cowboy! As soon as he got out of the car he was like, "I'm ready to ride horses. Come on Kanice." He told his dad that he couldn't ride the horse because he didn't have his cowboy hat on. He thought you HAD to have the boots, the shirt, the hat and the rope in order to ride. Such a cute Boy!
We had a great time with Cody's family. We wish we lived closer to the family and the kids so we could see them more, hopefully Cody and I will someday get our house started and finished so everyone can come stay with us... Hopefully real soon!

Pumpkin Girl

She's our little "Pumpkin"

I took the ones above a few days earlier and I didn't like the shadowing so tried to take some more, the lighting was better but Dallie Jo wasn't having it!
Started like this,
Then this,
Followed by this,
She was so happy to be done. Even though we didn't get a smile, I still think they turned out cute!

Leaves

We Love
FALL !
Fall is forsure my favorite season! I love the colors, how the leaves crunch under your feet, the chill of the night air, seeing all the baby calves plump and ready to sale and being able to enjoy family after a busy summer. Not that we've slowed down much but it seems we spend alittle more time just chilling.
So Dallie isn;t much of a picture taking girl but hopefully she will be someday.
I just couldn't resist those bright yellow leaves!

This is what she thinks of pictures.... She's still super cute.. even with her little Atttttttitude!

Blessing Dress

Here are the other blessing dress pictures I've been trying to get. She's not too excited about pictures but you can kinda see her dress a little bit better.... So cute!

I feel little Eyes watching me!

Ever had the feeling that someone was watching you?
Story of my life! I have little eyes watching me all day long. Dallie Jo loves her mommy so much that she watches me and follows me around the room making sure she can see me. Its so funny!
Last week I was asked to fill in at the Vision Clinic, so I had to leave baby Jo with my mom for the day. My mom had a blast with her and had the funniest story to tell when I got home for lunch.
Since I had to leave before Dallie was awake, she woke up to my mom. My mom said she could hear her little squeeks meaning she was awake, so my mom walked into her room to get her and as soon as my mom said "Hi Dallie," Dallie Jo looked around and then looked back up at my mom and just started screaming! As soon as she realized it was okay to wakeup to Grandma she settled down and was alright. I laughed so hard! She truly is a Mama's girl!
