Lotto!

My good friend Leandra did this and its funny she did, because Cody and I just had the same convo about what we'd do with all that Lotto Money! 650 MILLION that is!

So Lets begin!

-1st of course we'd have to pay a huge amount to taxes, but we'd still have so much left that I'd be okay with the government stealing so much.
-Then we'd donate a bunch to a few select groups.... Mostly Huntsman's Cancer and Diabetic research.
-Make some fat bank accounts for our kids education!
-We'd then pay for our house... and fully land scape it
-Build me a cute red barn
-We'd probably buy a ranch somewhere with lots of cows and probably sheep. Most likely start our own show club business
-Buy a lodge in AK! You know one surrounded by lots of moose, trophy bears, and wolves so Cod could hunt to his little heart's content!
-And buy our own airplane, heck we'd get a jet, and pilot to fly us to our houses everywhere.
-And we couldn't forget our families, so we'd build our parents houses, and help siblings (Only the nice ones... Maybe) And fly them everywhere!
-And of course we'd buy our dream cars, I said I wanted a new beetle (lame I know, but I've always wanted one!) but I'd probably settle for a cute little sports car and Cod would probably get a new truck and a fancy tractor and a really fast car!
-I'd probably try and buy my Great Grandpa Fisher's ranch back and fix it all up and just enjoy life!
-and I'd have the best clothes and boots around! I'd get my hair done and much as I'd like and like Leandra, a personal trainer would be great!

It sure would be fun to have that much money... it would be so great not to have to budget and just spend as you wanted.
Heck I'd take 1 million and be okay with that!
Cod said he'd keep his job just so he'd have something to do and stay busy, But I reassured him he'd probably have so many animals and houses to take care of that he'd stay busy.
Its always fun to dream, but it'd be real fun to make those dreams come true. And I'd hope the money wouldn't change me. You see so many people with money who think they're higher than everyone and I'd hope I wouldn't be like that.

I'll tell you one thing, I wouldn't go buying a trailer court and still live in a trailer if I won, I heard a couple from UT did that... really!?

WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU WON?

Every year during calving season by grandma usually ends up having to feed a few little baby calves. This year so far she has two little ones. We took Jo up to see the calves and we let her feed the calves with the bottle, I said, "Jo he's drinking his milk." She turns to me and says, "Dink Juice?" I said, "No Milk..." She then says, "No Juice!" It was too funny!

Puppy play

This weekend Cody's parents were on an important mission to deliver this little cute puppy to his new owner. Let me just say, she was the cutest and I really, I mean Jo Jo really wanted to keep her. I do believe if we did have a house we would have stolen her!
Jo was ready to go check the cows with her puppy and Grandma.

And of course, Grandma had to wear Grandpa's boots and had to have a belt on!

It just about broke my heart to see Jo's tears when we took her to her new owners. I hope they take good care of her cuz we would have kept her. Seriously I loved her! Once again we have to practice our patience and wait for our house to get done... or get started.

PS Girls in curls are too cute!
PPS if you like this little girl puppy, Cody's little brother has one more puppy for sale.

Branded!

Well its official... Jo is ours! Ha ha She's been branded with Chocolate!
Cody found these cute old fashioned branding irons.
It was so funny! She was trying to lick the chocolate off her belly but she couldn't quite reach it!

and last but not least, here is our bare bottom bronc rider!
I had just taken her to the potty and she ran out to ride her horse. Too cute not to share!

Kids say the darnest things!

Jo lately (19 months):

-She has been loving Disney movies and since we have very few movies I was getting a little tired of watching Bambi over and over and over so I got a smoking deal on Ebay and purchased a few more videos. We came home one day and our package was sitting on our doorstep. I said, "Jo, look there's your new movies." and she said, "Boobies!" So if you hear her say boobies she means movies!

- My grandpa's cows are just begining to have their calves and we took Jo up to look at them and she said, oh CHUTE (cute)! and Pretty!

-She is really trying to talk and her newest sentences are: Oh gosh, Bye Guys, cum on (come on), Jaxie play, Boys play, Lan lan (Landon), baby chute, lub bu (love you), nig nig (Night, night), a grammmmmamama (Grandma), ggrammmmmpapa (Grandpa), buh-bye and lots others but those are the funniest.

-She is starting to mimic everything! We took her to the movies with us one night and during the movie, the actors were kissing and the next thing I know she turns around and starts making our with me... Cody says, "only 'G' movies for you from now on!"

-Cody had to go to a training in Dallas last week and brought home here some cute little western pants and a blingy belt... she says pretty!

-She's become quite the little bronc rider. Her poor rocking horse is going to be worn out pretty soon!

-While Cody was gone, she started to get pretty wild at night and on night before he came home, I finally got her settled down and she lays her head on my shoulder and says, "Daddy?" and I said, "He'll be home tomorrow." and she just sighs and asks for him again. Poor little daddy sick girl!

-On our way home from Mexico we had to stop at Burns Saddlery in Salina and we got her come cute square toed pink boots. They were are a little too big and when we pick her up they always fall off but when asked what shoes she wants to wear she chooses those boots.

-Jo lost her best friend! That's right the binky is gone and she has survived, or should I say mom and dad survived!

-We turned her crib into a toddler bed and she is so proud of it. Anyone who comes to our house has to see her big girl bed!

-Oh and did I mention she really dislikes nursery! She screams when we take her there and when she sees the leaders she runs! Poor girl! Today when I went to take her, we played for a minute then when I went to leave she screams and holds onto my leg and just clings to my arms when I picked her up. And when holding her I could feel her shaking. I feel bad for the leaders cuz they are the nicest ladies but she just doesn't like to be left. She's usually pretty good when we leave her but for nursery she hates it. Just last night we left her at our friends house in Vernal while we went to finish our house plans and she was just fine and she had only met them 1! Hopefully with time she will start to like it!
