So if you come for a visit to the Pehrson's house,
you just might find a half naked Dallie Jo running around...

Get used to it, we are!
(She just won't leave her diaper on!)

Utah is on FIRE!

Utah is on Fire... Seriously!
There are fires in: Neola, Argule Canyon, Sanpete County/Utah County(HUGE fire), Oak City, Saratoga Springs, Cedar City, and I'm sure many other places. I am just now watching the news now and there are so many places under evacuation. And I just got word, some of our friends who live in Oak City have been evactuated.

And to think, we're just barely getting into the FIRE SEASON...

With that said I can't stop thinking of what I would do if I was evactated from my home. What would I grab? Where would we go?

First off I would make sure my family was with me, I'd get my little family some clothes and diapers for Jo. Then I'd go for things that couldn't be replaced; like pictures and sentimental family stuff and I'd stuff my truck as full as I could. Ha ha

But if I had to get out quick I'd grab clothes, diapers and as many sentimental family stuff as possible, but the most important thing is to make sure my family is safe.

On the news tonight it said the fire up by Neola was caused by fireworks. Really... Fireworks! This is a prime example why fireworks are prohibited across the state.

Over Father's day we went fishing up Pole Creek (where the fire is) and any idiot could see how dry it is. So why in the heck would they light fireworks, and in the middle of the day? Some people just have any common sense!

My cute little cousin wrote this on Facebook:

We don't really realize how much the fire fighters are doing for us, I'm not gonna look up no poem to post, I'm just gonna say it in my own words, we are angry at the ones who started it, we're angry that they don't just stop selling fireworks, but maybe we should just be thankful that we know better, that we aren't the person who started it, just be thankful for the amazing firefighters we have, I ...aint gonna be no preacher to you all, but instead of being angry, think of the firefighters who are up there in the smoke, the ones who are in the air with the helicopter pooring water down, they had to leave there family's just to fight a fire to protect us and knowing that they might not come back, pray for rain, pray that they will be alright. Thank you for all the ones that are put there fighting those fires. I'll pray for ya
Well said Miss Rylan!

I too am going to pray for the safety of our brave firefighters, for a quick containment of all these fires, and like always moisture.

Remember:
Be Safe, Not Sorry!

Pool Potty... I mean Party!

So it all started like this....

It was a very warm June day. Jo and I went outside to play because we were going crazy in our cubical of an apartment. My good friend and neighbor Nicole Zilles decided to blow up a little pool for the kids to play in. We got the pool blown up and in order to fill the pool up we had to walk back and forth from our kitchen/bathrooms with water. (for some reason our landlords won't let us use their water spikets, lame I know!)

After about 3 dozen trips up and down our stairs we finally let the kids get in.

The kids were having a ball! They were all laughing, splashing around and just enjoying themselves. Nicole and I were sitting on the stairs talking when Jo decided to bullying the boys. I walked over to tel her to stop making the boys cry and noticed some 'stuff' floating in the pool. Immediately I recongized what that 'stuff' was and pulled all the kids out! I was praying, yes praying that, that 'stuff' didn't come from Jo!

But indeed it was her! I wanted to die, seriously die! I was so embarrassed! Embarrassed in the fact that she had done her duty in their pool and that we had to dump all that precious water out and refill it.

I quickly helped clean up the mess and rushed Jo up stairs to change her swimming suit. I had done everything right, she had her swimming diaper on and she went potty before going out... Seriously KID!

I debated even going back out but quickly decided I should since it was our fault we had to dump the pool and I should help fill it back up.

After going out side and applogizing for the 100th time, we went on playing and everything was okay.

Let me just tell you, it has taken me a long time to get over this little accident. When ever we go swimming I make sure she is wearing the swimming diaper and the plastic cover and I check her every few minutes. I'm just lucky it was in a friend's pool and not the public pool... I would have really died if it was in public! And I'm so lucky to have a very understanding neighbor, she's truly become one of my good friends.

So that's our story of how a little pool party turned into a pool potty! All because of my very cute and very mischievious little Jo!

Jo lately

So as I get older... yeah I'll be 26 this year, I tend to forget stuff. My sisters ask me what Jo was doing at their kids ages and I usually can't remember so I have to go back and read on my blog what she had been up... So pretty much this is for my own rememberingness....

-Miss Jo is too smart for her own good! She remembers things so well and uses that to my disadvantage!
Today while doing laundry I found a ten dollar bill! (yeah me!) I took it and put in on my dresser but not far enough away that Miss Jo couldn't reach it. She comes in and says, "Money Mom!" And like always she run to her pink piggy bank and asks to put it in... Well the new rule in our house Jo gets the copper money and dad gets the silver (Cody's idea) And there is no way I was going to let her have a ten dollar bill! So I said trade mom two coins for that dollar, she was okay with that. I once again took the money and put it on the dresser and pretty soon she came running  in asking to put it in her piggy.... I tried the trading thing and she wouldn't just settle for two she said, "More Mom!"
-She's been doing much better with potty training. She'll sometimes tell me when she needs to go and its so rewarding to see her face light up when she hears her potty sing. She is getting too big but I'm totally okay with her becoming a big girl so I don't have to change diapers anymore. Just the other day, she told me she needed to go poo on the potty! Yeah! (I thought about taking a pic... JK!)
-She is my little country girl through and through! When driving down the road she yells, "Harse! Harse Mom, Harse!" When ever she sees a horse everyone knows there is one around cuz she yells it out. She yells, "haw!" to the cows and says here titty to the dirty cats across the road! Tonight I took her up to watch my little sister and cousin chase some cans and Jo was rolling in the dirt, running as fast as she could to the horses and exploring every inch of the grandstands. I promised my family that she was clean before we got there.
-We've had the yucky strep at our house. Jo was tested on Friday which came back positive for step and by Sunday my throat had started to itch. I hate when little miss gets sick. I always feel like its my fault and she just isn't her cute little self. I always know when she is sick when she's not getting into everything. Friday morning I was walking on my tredmill and I can usually only walk for a little bit cuz she runs in and wants my attention. Well that particular morning I turned on a movie and she watched it for a while and pretty soon she comes slowly walking in with her blanket and lays down on the floor... Poor girl, that is not my little girl. She doesn't just lay down and chill so I imediately took her to the doc.
-At the doc's office, the nurse said she weighed 28 lbs... I don't think she's that heavy but she has been growing alot!
-She still loves Grandma's house... or Wammma as she calls her. Wamma and Wampa! Too cute!
-She's my little swimmer. We got a swimming pass and we've gone just about 2 times a week since the pool opened and she is getting so brave. I have a little puddle jumper life jacket that works so super well. She kickes her way out into the deep and ask me not to hold her. In some ways I think this is a good thing cus some kids are so scared of water but I wish she had a little fear.... a fear of something, anything! She'll try just about anything and little miss Attitude will tell you if she doesn't like it.
-If she ever hits her head or gets hurt in anyway she comes running to me, crying I might add and says, "Me head!" or "Me leg!" She's miss tender heart like her mamma!
-Lastly, I kinda can't believe her birthday is coming so soon! Awe, what am I going to do with a 2 year old. She's already so michevious!

DAD's Day

Happy Father's Day!
I have so many great men in my life: Husband, Dad, Grandpa and Fa-in-law!
Every single one of these men are different in their own way and all have so many different qualities that add to our family!

I do know one thing, this little girl sure loves her daddy! And her daddy loves her back.

5 things we love about Miss Jo's dad:
-Hard worker! Seriously no one works harder than him and he works himself to death in order to provide for our family.
-He's pretty witty! He has a come back for everything. He's a pretty funny guy, and its funniest when he laughs so hard at his own joke!
- He's quite the handy man. I try and try to fix something and he comes and fixes it on the first try!
-Song writer.... He changes the words to every song and makes it his own. He's actually a pretty good singer but don't tell him I said that
-Lastly, He is so loving. Miss Jo is his biggest fan and even if we had a bad day or if she was in a bad mood, daddy makes everything is GREAT! It couldnt be because he skoots her around in the laundry basket or gallops around on her stick horse...?!

-Okay 6 things we love about him... He's a pretty good chef (that is when I can get him to cook). He makes the best, I mean the best dutch oven chicken, potatoes and cobbler..... Seriously hands down the best I've had!

Happy Father's Day
to all you fathers out there! I'm so glad I have the dad I have and I've so glad he took time to teach me and play with me and learn with me. So many people look up to him  and he's always giving us advise and he is always will to help.
And Miss Jo loves him too!

The best Dads, get promoted to Grandpas!

And like always, Jo steals the spot light! But this pic is too cute not to through in!

swinging

Here's the thing, I always see these cute pic ideas that look easy to take but Miss Jo usually doesn't cooperate! Well today wasn't much different. I took Jo to the park for a little photoshoot for a father's day card and like usual she got ornery and didn't want to smile so we just swinged and swinged and swinged.

Sad excuse for a pic.

My cute little neighbor boys who were helping me get her to smile

Best pic of the day!
She couldn't fight it any more!....

Well the pics didn't turn out like I wanted them to but all well, its just a pic!
Now I know why good photographers charge so much.

Workin at the car wash

So every Tuesday I watch Miss J for my sister while she works.... usually these two play really well together but lately I've been getting the feeling they are getting summer fever, so we packed up our stuff and put on their swimming suits and I took them over to J's house to play in the water.
\
This little water fess quickly turned into a little car wash
(They kept fighting over the car so I said they had to wash it before they could get back in. That worked for about 5 mins.)

Miss J

I need to find Jo a car like this cuz she loves it and would wrestle J to the ground to get her out! Awe!

Car Wash baby!

Well by the end they both were getting cold so we headed home and they both... yes both took a long nap! We're going to have to do that more offend!

Tanks mom!

Imagine a blue eyed, blond hair cutie saying these two words in her sweetest little voice...
You'd give her anything she wanted too!
