Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas from the Pehrson Family!

Can you believe that Christmas has came and gone already? I can't believe it!

This year we were able to stay home and have our own little Christmas! I loved it! I loved getting to sleep in my own bed and put the Christmas presents away as we opened them. But I do have to admit, I think I was a little more organized in the buying Christmas presents when I knew I had to have them all packed, wrapped and hidden before we went to Delta.

The Weekend before Christmas we went to the city for both our family Christmas parties. We went to the Pehrsons that saturday morning and then the Fisher/Mathews that night in SLC. We had a great time! We had lots of fun playing with the Pehrson cousins and opening presents and then seeing the lights at temple square and a fun night at the hotel with the Mathews cousins. We were regular city bums that weekend.

Dallie Jo was so fun this year (she is always fun) but this year you could tell she was really getting into the Christmas traditions. When we went to see Santa she really studied him and wasn't so sure if he was the real one. She really enjoyed getting up in the morning and looking for her Elf Krystal. And on the one night that Krystal forgot to move (oops!) she sat and thought and thought of a reason why she wouldn't have went to see Santa, it had to have been because Cooper was Naughty, definitely now because she was naughty!

All she wanted from Santa was an Anna Doll from Frozen and some frozen earrings. She was dead set on getting these items and never once changed her mind. She would see something else that she wanted and would say, "I'm going to ask for that next year!"

My little Cooper was quite the present opener. She would open the ones she wasnt suppose to open and go play with other stuff when she could actually open others. So by the end of the present opening, Dallie would just open hers and Coopers. Dallie didn't seem to mind and neither did Coop.

Merry Christmas EVERYONE!

Pehrson Update

Pehrson Update:

Jo made the BIG decision to get her ears peirced. IT. WAS. A. BAD. IDEA! She has done great with them since but the actual peircing was terrible. She seriously would have walked out of the doctors office with one ear done. I had to litterally lay on top of her to get the second one done. There was alot of screaming, kicking and lots of tears but she loves them now!

This year was our Delta Thanksgiving. We made a fast and furious trip south for a great Thanksgiving Dinner. But boy did we have fun!

While down there we had a fun little birthday party for the babies and enjoyed a fun night playing games with Cody's siblings... Lets just say I thought Cody was going to have a stroke from laughing so hard!

Cooper has decided she likes to be the little boss lady around the house. She rules the older kids around and usually gets her way. And when she deosn't get her way, she throws herself back and screams... and there are usually real tears involved! Little diva!

Dallie Jo had her first dance performance for a fund raiser a couple of weeks ago. She was pretty cute! Just a count behind everyone but at her age it's still cute. Her next preformance in January then she has a competition in April.... Yeah I'm not sure if I'm ready to be a dance mom!

I have yet another birthday, I'm about to the 'and holding' age! AWE! 29 next year! Like always Cody surprised me with a beautiful flower arrangement that I get to add to the other pretty ones he's given to me in the past. Lets be honest, I do the decorating but he buys it. He's pretty good at knowing what I like.

Happy Birthday Coop!

Today is my Sweet Cooper Rose's Birthday!
As I woke up this morning I couldn't help but reflect back to the night she was born.
My day started with my regular, every other day doctor appointment. The day before was 11/11/13 and I remember thinking how cool it would have been to go into labor that night and have her on 11/11, but indeed that didn't happen.
I remember telling my doc that I thought I was in labor and he said no and sent me home.
But of course my sweet girl made her quick delivery that night with only an hour to spare in the delivery room.
She was my 11/12/13 baby who couldn't wait another 5 mins to be born at 9:10, she came at 9:05 and couldn't have been more perfect.
I know I said this with my Dal all the time, that I can't believe how fast time is flying, but REALLY where did this year go? Cooper seems to little to be one, and I'm not ready to have another toddler. I want her to stay little for as long as possible! But if it was up to her, she'd be walking and riding horses right along with her older sister.

At 12 months Miss Rosie,

- Still loves her pink silk blanket more than anything!
- She has the crawling thing down pack and instead of sitting and playing with toys now, she follows me around making messes. We have rubber bands on all the cupboard knobs she can reach.
- She says, mom, dad, dal, deu, num-num, that.
- Loves when her daddy comes home from work. She will drop whatever she's doing and vline to the back door. She usually jumps right out of my arms for Daddy.
- She is getting 2 more teeth, the big top molers in the back. She has been quite the bear this last month. I took her to the doc thinking she had ear infections but indeed it was just the those teeth! That will make a whopping 8 teeth when they finally come in! Dal didn't get any until she was a year!
- She is always pointing at what she wants and says that. And the little smarty will nod her head at what she does and doesn't want.
-When ever I open our fridge freezer door she comes crawling as fast as she can, because that usually means ICECREAM!
-She loves her Papa Brent. He comes to our house just about daily to visit and she knows when he comes she gets a four wheeler ride. I don't know what we'll do when it gets too cold to ride the razor.
-On the days I watch my nephews, she crawls around following the kids just like she's a big kid too. She doesn't let them get away with anything. She's keeps a watchful eye out for the kids.

I am amazed how quickly we got into a daily routine with two girls. Its like Cooper has always been with us. I don't know what we'd do without our little spitfire, stubborn, sweet girl! When she smiles she just melts my heart with that nose crinkle and toothy grin!

Love you Rosie Posie, Now just STOP growing! I'm not ready for a walker yet!

Halloween 2014

We had so much fun this Halloween. Dallie Jo got to attend FOUR Halloween parties and enjoyed dressing up each time. She now thinks she needs to wear makeup everywhere!
Cooper was the cutest little skunk I have ever seen! She just smiled big for everyone and enjoyed the candy everyone kept handing her. Her favorite part of the night was sitting on Grandpa Brents lap eating a kitkat... He's now her favorite!

Dallie really liked carving pumpkins. I love how excited she is every year to try new things. She loves the new traditions we are forming and she doesn't let us forget them. She says, remember my pumpkin last year, I loved it! (yeah, I don't remember...)

Dallie attended two preschool parties, she went to my parents ward party and then our ward trunk for treat. I think I'll freeze the candy like it did last year and eat it all year round!

Quincee and her boys came to the trunk or treat. Aren't they the cutest Tonto and Lonerange ever! She tried to get Kaz to dress up as a pirate, but he was set on being a cowboy... as usual! We also ran into Dallie's little friend Brecken, she's the cutest too!

Needless to say Dal and Cooper had a great time. Dallie already says she's going to be a cheerleader next year... and I think Cooper will probably be a mermaid since we already have Deuce's costume from the dog show.

Kyxie!

Poor Kyxie!
Gpa Gary says he's scared for life!

12 months!

This little gam turns 1 tomorrow! Awe! I'm not sure I'm ready for this!

Love

I just love these three!

Dog show

The first weekend of October, yes opening day of the elk season we went to Dallie Jo and Deuce's first ever Dog show. I was REALLLY nervous about going. I thought to myself, "We are going to be the laughing stock of the show. We don't belong here. I've seen the uppity people there and I don't want to be one of them."

Well with all that said, we REALLY enjoyed ourselves. We made some new friends and learned alot! We learned that our little Deuce is super naughty and needs obedience training and that our Jo is the cutest little show women.

This is Dallie showing the Scott's dog, Ivy. Ivy knew just what to do and was so patient with Jojo. There were a total of three shows that day and Dallie and Cody showed in two of the three.

The first show we threw Jo in the ring and she ended up taking 2nd (of two kids) and then tied for first in the second go round. After the first show the Scott's showed her a few tricks and she was able to watch others show; she just thrived! She loved every minute and I enjoyed seeing Jo in her element. She loves the animals and loves to preform.

We might not have won our first show but we did win the costume contest! As far as Deuce goes, he was very, very, very NAUGHTY! He wouldn't stand, he wouldn't walk, he wouldn't trot...

Look how naughty Deuce was. He is usually such a good little walking companion but with 30 other dogs there, he lost his mind! Cody was so embarrassed that he wouldn't walk!

The true reason we chose to go to the show was so Dallie could get more experience showing and learn how to be an all around showman. We want her to be confident in what she does and even with these two, low key shows you could really see a boosted in her confidence. She was the cutest girl there and she was on cloud nine feeling so proud of how she had done.
The high light of the WHOLE show was when she came out of the ring the first time after being awarded 2nd and she said, (with a HUGE smile on her face!) "The judge said I could be #2 this time!" She felt so happy to be getting 2nd!

11months old

This post a little bitter sweet, my sweet, little Cooper Rose is 11 months old. That's right, 11 months old. WHERE did this last year go! She is wayyyy to little to be almost a year! With that said, here is a little bit about Rosie.

-Cooper loves to play in the pots and pan and knows just where to find them when I'm in the middle of cooking dinner.

-Cooper  hasn't been a very good sleeper lately, she had her first ear infection last week. I hope she doesn't follow in there sister's foot steps and have to get tube. Fingers Crossed!
-She really likes Deuce now. She calls for him in the morning but when he comes near she kicks as fast as she can. I believe this is because she's super excited and because she doesn't want him to get too close. She does the same thing when the horses come near.
-Rosie really loves to ride on the four wheelers. She bounce in her place until you go and growls when  you stop. She also loves when Gpa Brent takes her for a ride on the razor.
-She's started to turn her nose up at baby food. She'll eat two certain kinds but she would rather eat off our plates. (I don't blame her!)
-She is a little racer. When she gets her little push cart, there isn't anything that could stop her. She is from one side of the room to the other in a blink of an eye.
-She's started crawling normal, no more peg leg crawling for her. she can get around a lot faster!
-She's wearing size 12 clothes with an exception of a few 8-9 month and a few smaller 18 months.
-She still only has 6 teeth (ONLY!)
-Cooper is going to be her dad's little show-women. She loved sitting and watching the dog (pics to come)
-I'm pretty sure she's on the verge of walking. She doesn't love to walk with your fingers she prefers her push card.
-she really likes her Aunt Quincee. This week while we were watching Jo at tumbling and Cooper crawled over and sat on a lady's lap who kinda looked like Quincee and just sat, completely relaxed.
-she loves, I mean really loves the blanket my Gma Carma made Dallie when she was a baby. It's so soft and she loves to hold it to her face when she sleeps. She will actually put her self back to sleep if she has hr blanket. It's pretty cute to see how much she loves it.
-Still no hair! You can see a little coming in, but she's still our bald beauty!

Happy 11 months to her, looks like I better to get planning her bday party and presents! AWE! That's a scary thought!

Lemonade stand

I have a good friend in my new ward that is an awesome photographer! We got together and did a little lemonade stand mini shoot. Look her up on FB Tarrin Monson Phitography.

Of course I always have so much fun making and crafting up a storm. But this time it was super fun since I was doing it for a purpose and coming up with mini session ideas is never ending now.
Thanks for my hubby for taking over and pulling the nails out if the old palet, those dang things are harder to get out than expected!

Tarrin said she wasn't too impressed with the lighting, granted we had like a two hour rain break to take this pic but I think they are pretty cute.

Now that I have the stand made Jo is pretty certain her Jo next year will be to sell lemonade, she's pretty determined.

Oops...

So there was this one time, this lady I knew went to get her mail and there in her mail box was a package. She quickly opened it thinking it was hers. When to her surprise it was a brazier!

She hadn't ordered a BRA!

As quickly as she had opened the package she shoved the bra back in its package and looked at the address label. Sure enough, it wasn't her's but one of her neighbors.

Oops!

Talk about getting to know your neighbor, quick! And by neighbor I mean the lady that lives about 100 acres away, that's what we call neighbors in the Basin.

10 months

Holy cow! I can't seem to keep up with how fast Cooper is growing up! There is a little boy just one day younger than Cooper and his Mom posts a pic on FB every time he turns a month old, like I usually do, but this month I saw his pic and said, "Wow, Easton is already 10 months old!?" Then I realized that Cooper was too! What a fast pace life we live!

Well this month Cooper has taken on a new nickname, 'Sandy'. While we were out enjoying the Utah State Fair, every time someone would walk past her, she would growl at them. So, with that said Cody nicknamed her Sandy from off the movie the Croods... "Release the baby!"

The last 2 weeks I've been watching my little sister's kids while she has started a new job. We love having them here and Cooper tries her hardest to keep up with Kyx. Her crawl is a mix of an army crawl, a booty scoot and a regular crawl all at once. Its quite the scoot she's got.

She likes to dance! She'll bob her head to the music in the truck and dance with her walker. So cute!

She's been walking with her little walker more and more. She has the stiff legged walk down great, and even dances as she goes. I'm going to be in real trouble when she does get the walking thing down, 4 kids under the age of 4, 3 days a week might be a little much.

Also this month, the last one of the 6 teeth Cooper has been trying to get it, has finally come in. She has been a BEAR! Poor girl has been on a daily dose of Tylenol for a month now. (Not really daily, but it seems like she's always got a fever from those DAMN teeth. Yes I said damn!)

She is still our little petite cutie. She's wearing some 12 month clothes but she still fits pretty good into size 6/9.

She is going to be her dad's little showman. She sat so good through the whole stock show. She loved seeing the animals and growled to go play with them.

I honestly don't even remember what life was like with only 1 kid. Dallie and jo play so well (usually) together. Cooper just follows her around and tries to do whatever Dal is doing!

Love You Cooper! Stop Growing up!

PS we got a dog. Cooper hates him! more to come!

New family member

So if you remember, Miss Jojo asked Santa for a girl puppy for Christmas.

Well Santa finally delivered! He sent his elf Krystal to watch over Dal all week and I guess she sent the old Fat Fella a good review since a little puppy now lives in our garage.

'Deuce'
DOB 9/19/14

And yes, I kinda like him! He is cute lil guy, if only he wouldn't poop in the garage for me to clean up!
Cody and I have been frantically looking for the perfect puppy to join our family. And if you know Cody it had to be the perfect marked Aussie. We searched the Internet, the newpapers, billboards, you name it, we searched it. We had a hard time finding a standard size aussie, that didn't come from a puppy mill home. We didn't want just any old dog, we wanted a puppy from someone who really loved the breed and wasn't out to just gain money from having a litter.

This is where Sherrie Scott with Spring Fever Aussies comes in. Cody had known her a little bit from previous buisnesses, so he gave her a call and she hooked us up with Borget Aussies and we were put on the litter list for this lil guy. We went and saw him at 4 weeks and liked him the best and then at age 8 we went to see them evaluated. We knew there might have been a chance we wouldn't get him but any of the other 2 males in the litter would have been great too.

The lady who owns his mother said that Reggie (aka Deuce) was the spunkiest of all. He was the one who played the most and had a bit of attitude! and yes he does but so does Jo so they fit together just fine!

Catch up

This little kitty hat has been played with and worn by all the girls in our family since my Aunt Stacy was little. Cooper thought she was pretty awesome!

First set of canning projects, 14 quarts of peaches and 28 pints od salsa! I actually really enjoy canning. While I'm in the moment and my girls are making messes I complain but when I'm done I feel such a feeling of accomplishment! And it's nice knowing I have salsa to eat when the zombies take over. ;)

I finally finished the yard sale kitchen table I got fir $10. We're using it as a computer desk now. I have since then finished two chairs to go with it. They cost me a whopping $2!

Over Labor Day, cod and I took the girls camping up to Moon Lake. We had to take our annual bath in the sink pic. And like always I was too busy having fun to take any pics, but I did catch 2 fish, are some great food and enjoyed our time away with just my lil fam.

4 yr old

I just realized that I never wrote about my 4 yr old! I was waiting on birthday pics from my sister and well I guess we're still waiting so pics will have to come later. As for now you'll have to settle with the few I took.

What is there to be said about my little Dallie, better yet what isn't there be the said. She is the best! She has such a sweet little tender heart and is always up for a good time.

-She is a camping fool! She loves being out in the outdoors and exploring, but not the getting lost exploring, she stays pretty close to camp which makes my job a lot easier.
-She's become quite the story telling which i think comes from all the camping trips. There is always a story to be said around the camp fire. Just this weekend while we were camping up to Moon Lake, I kid you not, she talked the.whole.way.home! She kept saying, "And then, and then, and then." And each story had about the same story line just different animals and names. Her made up names are too funny and so original. For the longest time her baby's calf's name was Eartaggy because it had an ear tag in its ear.
-She can now lope on her horse Skippy and that is all she wants to do. Her horse knows just what to do, she pulls on his head and kisses to him and he takes his little circle at a slow gallop and is right back to the fense (he's a real go getter!) But she doesn't care! She loves that lazy old white horse more than anything. When asked to switch horses the answer is always NO and good old Skip is simply the very best. Her Great-Great Uncle asked if he could buy her horse and to our surprise she said yes, then two seconds later she said he could buy him after he dies and comes back... Such a wise girl, who wants to retrain a horse?! ha ha
-She is the ultimate sister, the ulitmate helper and the ulitmate pill all at once. Cooper really does love her sister so much but sometimes Jo gets a little too helpful. She wants to carry Coop every where which usually results in Cooper crying becuase she's beings squeezed too tight. But all in all Dall is the one that can get the biggest smile out of her sister and knows the right thing to say to get her to laugh. And Coop loves all the snacks Jo shares with her.
-Dallie is a super great dancer. She loves to dance and does it whenever and where ever she wants. She is taking tumbling again this year along with cheerleading. I think she'd rather just take cheer but tumbling helps her balance so well so she's doing both. Truth be told, she doesnt like tumbling out side of tumbling, she's not the type to do flips and rolls all over the house. She likes to go to class and tumble but practicing is a stretch?! But i know she'll love cheer since she still does the little dance she learned at her week long mini cheer clinic.
-She loves primary. She looks forward to sunbeams each week and is very interactive in singing time and sharing time. She always wants to be picked. She always comes home and tells what she learned and believe it or not she does learn something!

-she loves to play dress up. Tht is why she chose to have a tea party for her birthday! She usually changes her clothes at least once day from regular to a dress of some sort.
-She knows how to melt your heart with one little hug, kiss and "I love you!"

Miss Jo is my favorite 4 year old and i truly wish time would slow down. She starts preschool next week, twice a week and I just don't know what I'll do with out her following me around trying to help me with everything! She wants to know how everything works and if she can PPPPPlease help!

Love you Jo Jo!

4 yrs and 9 months

Today I took the girls to their wellness checkup with Dr Staker.

Little Cooper is 17.9 lbs and 26.5 inches tall. That makes her in the 25% in both category.
Miss Dal is 35 lbs and 41.5 inches tall. Which puts her in the 50% for weight and 75% for height. She was excited when I told her she only had a half inch to grow before she could go down the water slides!

I was really excited when the nurse said Cooper wasn't due for shots (shots+teeth=even grumpier and less sleep) but miss Dal had to get a booster shot. She was NOT happy about them. I had to lay on top of her to get her to hold still! So sad! She was screaming and there were a few REAL tears, but she  hot her favorite mcDonalds yogurt parfait so I guess it wasn't so bad.

I was surprised Jo was due for shots. I guess the shots she got today is what a lot of people consider their 5 yr old Kindergarten shots. So we're ready for kindergarten... In a year?! Really that soon?
