Christmas Eve

The best part of having girls is getting to dress them up and I like to dress them the same.

Tail end... Love these pjs!

And I love this guy, he takes such good care of us!

She was so embarrassed that we wanted a pic with the flap open!

Little miss chubby cheeks! I swear I could see her growing the 7 days we were in delta visiting.

So excited for SANTA!

Christmas parties!

Here is Cooper and Hayden meeting for the first time. She must have felt small next to him cuz she's done nothing but grow since then. They are week apart, he was born 11/07 ans she 11/12,

Even though it was cold and frosty that didn't stop the kids from sleigh riding. They went all day one say with uncle Jason to the sand dunes. Cody said Jo would be riding with the older kids and they'd get dumped off and the older kids would cry and Jo would laugh... That's my big girl!

Blade helping Jo open her present from her cousin Lexie.

Cooper spent most of her present opening sleeping.

This is how she really left about opening presents, she could care less! Thanks to uncle Kjell for helping her.

too tired

I swear all we do these days if fight with Jo to get her to eat. She'll eat so well one min and nothing the next. She was constantly being told that 'Santa's elves' we're watching and if she didn't eat she wouldn't get any presents!
Well this night she couldn't get down until she had eaten five bites, well that was just too much! She was just too tired!

.

Is this the North Pole?

This year Jo went to visit Santa at our ward Christmas party. We enjoyed a very nice dinner and a very cute nativity play by the primary ( which she was so ticked that she wasn't old enough to be in) and then Santa paid all the kids a visit.
On the way over to the party we told  her that if she ate all her dinner that she'd get to see Santa. As we pulled into the church parking lot she says, " Is this the North Pole?"  With all the snow and cold temps Cody replied, "it sure feels like it!"
I explained to her that it wasn't the North Pole and she let out a sigh and said, "Well okay."

She was so into the Santa and Christmas spirit this year. She reassured her dad that if he shot Santos's reindeer that he would be on the naughty list and while at grandma Pehrson's he  made sure the kids knew that Santa's elves were watching!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas
from the Pehrsons!
I am so truly blessed and thankful for my little family.
We couldn't be happier!

Our little Christmas tree
Best stocking stuffer EVER!

This is the cutest moment, I told had Jo hold Coop while I was trying to get some present wrapped and this is what I saw when I came back in. She was telling her little sis about baby Jesus and how he loves animals! hah

We hope this Holiday finds your family in good health and happiness!
Love,
The Pehrsons

Save the reindeer!

Saturday morning Cooper and Dallie were both up pretty early so I started a Christmas movie hoping we'd be quiet enough that Cod could sleep in. Nope... not with Santa and his reindeer on the TV.

Cody comes in and joins the party as Jo fills him in on the movie about Santa's reindeer!

Cody: Well when Santa comes, I'm going to shoot his reindeer and we're going to mount them on our living room. Three on this wall, three on that wall." Cody explained his whole plan and Jo just soaked it all up.
Jo: No Dad, Santa can't come with out his reindeer! I thought she might burst into tears.
Me: And there are 8 reindeer daddy! I had to add in my two tid pits.
Cody: Well we'll hang the other two in the office. Wouldn't that look nice? then you could see them every day!
Jo: No Dad, Santa can't come with out his reindeer! Jo was getting a bit huffy as she tried to reason with Cody.
Cod: Well I guess he'll have to get some pigs to pull his sleigh.
Me: Pigs, thats the best thing you could think of!
Jo: No Dad, Santa can't have pigs pull the sleigh.
Me: Well maybe he could use your house Skip and the rest of Grandpa's horses.
Jo: No, Skippy can't go with out me! She sheepishly grinned and I could only imagine what ideas were going through her head.
Jo again: Dad just dont shoot them. Santa needs them.
Cod: We'll see.
Jo: You won't get any presents!

Cooper's newborn pics

I just realized I hadn't posted Cooper's newborn pics. They turned out sooooo cute! I love every.single.one of them and the experience was so much smoother and enjoyable than with Dallie.
I had a cute lady in my ward take them, Tarrin Monsen. She is so sweet and patient with Miss Rosie. And Miss Rosie just slept like a dream!
ENJOY!

This one is our fav! Jo has done this since the day we brought Coop home, and I doubt it will be the last.
I just love my two girls. They bring so much light and life into our home and I can't get enough of how cute they are!
Well I think so anyways!
