What is this?....

My Baby Girl is 10 Months Old!

New this month:
- She's grown a ton and so has her Attitude! At her nine month Doc appointment she weighed 20 pounds even and was 28 inches long and I think she's grown alot since then.
- She WALKS every where. She takes about 7 steps on her own and then gets a little scared and grabs for some help.
- She's a Tornado! One of the ladies who live by us asked me what Dallie Jo likes to do. I told well she doesn't like toys, she doesn't like to watch TV, and she doesn't crawl much but she does loves to scale the walls... And its true she just likes to walk around looking and pulling everything down. She makes a mess in one place then moves to the next
- She's catching on to words so well... Well we think she is. Tonight Cod gave her a cookie and she ate it then we here, "DA, Cookie!"
- She loves to eat! Especially fresh veggies and fruit. They make a pretty smelly diaper but she could eat, and eat, and eat corn, peas and grapes. When she's outside, she's tried eating grass and hay and flowers but she likes rocks best... you know the ones in the corral where they are really, really dirty!

- She loves riding horses. On Memorial day Monday, she rode her horse Trigger (the real trigger not her rocking horse) and just laughed and smiled the whole ride. SHE LOVED IT!
- She really really really likes her AUNTIE Rylan. She loves all her Aunts but Miss Ry takes her all over and shows her everything! While at my Grandma and Papa Fisher's house she looks and tries to follow Rylan. Good luck Ry, You've got a little follower....
-She loves her Grandparents! This last weekend, she went for a ride with my parents and when I went to strapped her in her car seat she was waving and telling me bye before I could get her strapped in... It kinda broke my little heart! ha ha And she's learning some good and bad habits from Papa Brent. He's the one that started her on finger grabbing.

Love you little BUG!

So last night my little sister graduated from High School. Its kinda weird to think she's all grown up and graduated. We had a great family dinner before and then went to cheer her on as she got her diploma... I to tell her that the only reason she graduated was because the school paid mom and dad to get her out of their hair. Ha ha
As we were sitting there at graduation watching the senior video, all the baby pictures came up and I thought, "Wow, they were once little..." Then the thought popped into my head, "Crap that could be my Jo Jo in a few years.
!SCARY!
And too add to the maddness, last night Dallie Jo decided she didn't want me to rock her to sleep so I put her in her bed and she slept all night!

Needless to say, other than the great, non interrupted sleep I got, she is growing up too FAST! Time flies and she is funner than ever.

THE END

PS she's getting two little teeth on the bottom. I thought she might be a little gummer baby forever!

Sunny Weekend!

On Monday the May 16th was our 2nd year anniversary!

(Our VERY 1st picture taken together!)

Things that have changed from last year:
- Had a baby.
- Cody changed jobs. He now works for Anadarko and seems to really like it.
- I quit my job. (still kinda sad about this... BUT I love staying home with my girl!)
- Bought a new truck; Red (of course) Ford F-150
- Had a baby... I had to add this one again  because this little girl has totally changed our lives. Having a little baby changes so much. A baby can add alot of stress to a marriage, BUT can bring it SO MUCH JOY!

Alot has changed this last year and I wouldn't and couldn't ask for more. Cody is the BEST Daddy and husband and Dallie Jo is such a cute and fun little blessing.

I can't wait to see what our future brings. I'm so grateful I get to spend ETERNITY with these two!

This year for our anniversary we took a little trip to Kanab, UT (YEAH!) to pick up a horse. It was such nice weather....! Not too hot, but for sure not as rainy as it has been the last two weeks in the Basin. We even got a little tan!
Dallie Jo LOVED swimming this time.
We were sitting on the side of the pool and I'd look down and she'd be tipping over and one little toe would pop out of the water. So I'd help her put it back down and she'd stand good for a little while then she'd tip over the opposite way and a little toe would pop up... Too funny!

Miss Hollywood herself!
While Cody was off chasing wild Cows.... (Really they were wild and crazy), Baby Jo and I took a little shopping trip to St. George. We found some great deals and even got a ton of baby clothes for close to 75% off all! YEAH!
I didn't think she'd like her glasses much but she does. She'll leave them on the whole time.
Cody had a pretty good time chasing those cows too. He said my Grandpa's meanest cow doesn't hold a candle to those Mean Mammas! The guy he went with said, "These cows have no bluff to them... If they look like they're going to eat you, they will."
I think we'll probably have to take another trip down so I can go. I wasn't about to lug Jo Jo on long horse back trip to chase cows that are that mean... It didn't sound too fun with a babe.

We had a great time while down south. I thought the drive would be terrible but Dallie Jo was so, So, SO GREAT! She did get tired the last 15 mins of our trip but she was a complete Angel the rest of the time. It was good to get away and just spend some time just as a family.

And this pic was from Mother's Day.
We were invited over to my cousin's mission farewell and this is Dallie Jo helping dad drive to the luncheon. Quincee said she's a better driver than her daddy!

PS our computers.... thats right computers just quit one day so now I have to mooch off of my family in order to blog or check email... Dumb computers!

Today for the first time... DALLIE JO WALKED ON HER OWN!
So... it was only about 5 steps, and it was just a little wobbily...
But... she's on her way, and that means no more hunched over backs for Mommy and Daddy!

Wish us LUCK!

PS did I tell you she also crawls! Just a GI JANE Army crawl, but its a crawl!

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to my Mom, Mother-in-law, and Grandmas!

Being a MOM is the best and most amazing blessing.... EVER! I truely love being a mom and have always wanted to be a mom since I was little. (That's probably why I couldn't ever commit to anyone degree.)

I heard this the other day:
"We will have all of Eternity to know our children as adults, but only this moment,
right now, to know them as children."
-Hilary Weeks

I have seen first hand how fast the little ones can change; the 9 months of pregnancy sure doesn't go as fast as the 9 months of watching them grow, learn and develop.
And I've Loved.Every.Minute!
So.. my new goal is to slow down and take in the memories of when she is little. I've tried to write down what she learns and funny things she does but still as fast as time goes by little things get forgotten and that is what I want to remember.
