Weeks Down!

Weeks To Go!

Thats right.... only 13 Weeks until little Baby P is here!
Does this time seem long or short to you? Some days I get kinda freaked at how much time I have left and other times I just wish the time would come. There is so much to get ready for this little baby but I'm so excited that I can't wait!

But just thinking of all that we need to get done just made me feel very overwhelmed! ha ha

This last weekend Cody and were the ultimate Utah travelers!
-We left Roosevelt at about 6:00 am and headed to Altamont, we hooked onto Cody's trailer and took it out Ogden get some repairs done on it.
-In Ogden we look at some other trailers then headed for Sandy to pick up my jeep which was getting some repairing work as well.
-From Sandy we went to Lehi, dropped off Cody's truck and then went shopping in Orem.
-While in Orem we experienced our first In-N-Out Burger.... and Yes we Loved it! So cheap and so fast! After eating that fabulous burger I talked Coder into going and looking at cribs and carriers..... after a bit of walking around and having the rush of confusion as to which item would be safest and most convient for our baby we got overwhelmed and decided to leave.... so many decision come with this little baby. After that we met up with Cody's friend Dave and his wifey Nicole and their little girl we headed to the mall. On our way, we spotted a homeless man sleeping in the grass and Cody couldn't resist teasing his. He slapped the side of my jeep and yelled HEY! They poor old man sat straight up and looked around so scared. I'm sure he thought he was getting arrested! ha ha We laughed so hard (I know we're mean.)
-After the mall we drove up to Spanish Fork to Dave's house where we dropped his little girl off to the babysitter then headed back to Orem to meet up with his cousin.
-From Orem we went back to Lehi to eat at the famous Texas Road House.... WE love Texas Road House. Our wait to get in was terrible but so worth the wait. We ate so much that they almost had to roll us out to our truck.
-After eating all we could we then went back to pickup Cody's truck and made our last journey of the day to Delta. We spent the night at his parents house and then Sunday we spent the day we had a great visit with Cody's parents and then that afternoon we headed back to Spanish to pick up my jeep again then headed to Altamont then home to Roosevelt.

We were so tired! But it was a great weekend spent with friends and family! What would Cody and I do if we weren't off traveling some where or off playing?

BABIES!

Random thoughts of Pregnant Kandice:

#1- I DO enjoy feeling my little baby move and kick and stretch inside my belly.
#2- I DO NOT enjoy the bit of weight gain which comes with the baby that is probably only going to weigh 6-8lbs.
#3- I DO enjoy looking at all the little baby clothes, blankets, accessories and little bows.
#4- I DO NOT enjoy the cost of some of these very cute things.
#5- I DO enjoy seeing how excited our families are. My family is super excited since she will be the first little baby in our family since RYLAN who is turning 12 in July.
#6- I DO NOT enjoy people rubbing my belly. Its getting big enough that I'm actually looking prego and not just fat and with that brings belly rubbing... even belly rubbing by complete strangers! I guess that'll be something I'll have to get used to.
#7- Right around 3:30 to 4:00pm, little babe will start kicking around in the belly a bit and it reminds me of how I'm almost off work! I DO enjoy my little time keeper!
#8- I DO NOT enjoy her kicking my blatter! Enough said.
#9- I LOVE when Coder talks to my belly and how he seems to light up when we are in the ultrasounds. He's going to be such a great dad!
#10- I LOVE that this little baby is all mine and really I don't have to share it if I don't want to... ha ha But I will!

Here are a few pictures I saw on MSN.com. Today there was a link to the cutest pictures I have ever seen and I wanted to share.

I need this cute hat for baby P.
This one is my favorite!

I can't wait for little baby P!
I just know she'll be the Cutest-est-est-est babe, I'm just sure of it!

Have a great weekend ALL!

Oh Boy!

BOY, Oh BOY, Oh BOY!......................................................................................

Its a GIRL!
Well thats the educated guess for this week! Its something and we'll take it! Yesterday was my monthly appointment. Everything seems to be going well and they've decited that maybe its a girl! Oh how exciting! They still were not able to get a great look but they think its really a girl. This time our subborn little baby was folded completely in half! Its little feet were up by its head!
Here is the babies profile, its little hand it covering half of it face.
Babies Foot and Hand. You can kind of see the top of its head off to the right.

It seems kinda weird to think thats its a girls because We've been calling a boy for so long.... BUT at least we don't have to call her an IT anymore!

Forget the Blue, bring on the Pink! ha ha

PS, Can I just tell you how forgetfull I am, yesterday I kept thinking just one more day then we can find out what it is, just one more day. Well about 3:54pm I checked my phone because I could feel it vibrating and there were three messages from Cody asking where I was, if I was going to my appointment. I looked up at my calendar and yep there it was, 4pm appointment for KP on Monday April 5, 2010. I had been thinking all month that it was on a Tuesday. I grapped my purse and told the ladies at work and ran out. The funny thing, about 3:30pm the baby started kicking and moving all around. I was thinking, WOW its pretty busy today! When actually it was trying to remind its crazy, brainless mother of our appointment.
Thank goodness for a responsible husband and baby! ha ha!
I sure hope my brains come back after the baby is born!

Cracking the Secret!

Since I found out I was pregnant at the first of December, Cody and I decided to tell our families for Christmas! We tried and tried to think of the best way to tell them and decided to do it through presents.
We found the cutest western shirts, and since we didnt know what we were having we bought a boy and girl shirts. We wrapped the boys and the girls in seperate boxes and had our moms open the girls and our dads open the boys.
We spent Christmas at the Pehrsons this year so Dave and Carrie were the first to know.

Here are the pictures:
.
Cody's parents: Carrie and Dave

Carrie: Really? Dave: Twins?

Carrie's reaction was priceless! She was so excited and started the holler and shout! Such a good surprise.

Next was my parents. We had to practically talk them into opening the presents. Since it was after Christmas they didnt think we should have gotten them more presents. But they LOVED these presents!

Gary: REALLY!? REALLY!? REALLY!?
Angie: Twins?

It was so fun to see their reactions and funny how both set of parents said the same thing.
Since we told the parents so early on, we decided to have them keep the secret to themselves and we waited to tell the rest until I was a bit farther along.
We didn't get pictures of when we told the rest of my family. We had just gone to one of my little sister's basketball games and we went to diner with the family. We had our ultrasound pictures and we have some little cowboy booties for the baby and we had  Quincee open the booties. She said, "Well these won't fit me!" then she said, "These are for a...... BABY!" Her reaction was priceless too.
Rylan was happy, but on the way home she said to my grandparents with a tear in her eye, "I'm not going to be the baby!" Ha ha, My grandparents told her how fun the baby will be and she is super super super excited now! She sees something for a baby and tells the grand parents that we HAVE to get that for the baby! I guess she at first thought we were all going to forget her, but who could forget our baby Rylan!? ha ha

Its so comforting to know that we have great familes standing behind us. Our baby will be well loved and sadly so spoiled! ha ha

Hunting Season

Here are a few more pictures from hunting season this year, you can't see them very well but when we were looking for that big buck we found a few moose. Cody was showing off his moose calling skills and called in another big bull moose and a cow moose.
IT WAS PRETTY AWESOME!
The total of deer seen that day was zero and the number of moose was three cows, two bulls and one calf. Too bad we didn't have a moose tag! Isn't that the way it always goes, wrong tag, wrong animal, wrong season!

Uncle Kjell's homecoming

These pictures are a few MONTHS old, but they are so cute. I should have posted them months ago but they were stuck on my camera, along with a few hundred others!

Back in October Cody's brother came home from his mission to Iowa and usually when ever we are in Delta we head to the shooting range. We usually do a bit of skeet shooting and play around with the other guns.
McKrae, Keegan, and Kohlbin came with us this time and they are so funny to watch. Keegan will actually try to aim while little Kohlbin will pull the trigger and look away. One time Keegan got a little too close to the scope and well he got that lovely black ring on his eye; luckily it didn't bruise!

Can't wait until our little one can come play with us!

My Doctor called and said.... APRIL FOOLS!

I'm not usually do not pull pranks or try to trick anyone because I usually can't pull them off....Well this year I decided to tease every by saying that my baby doctor had called and said we were have a BOY... Well a few people commented on this facebook post and a few others caught on so I finally spilled the beans and told that is was a joke, but there were a ton of my other friends who didn't catch on. As of this morning they still thought I was getting a boy.....

So, to set the record straight: We DO NOT know what we are having and We ARE going in next week to hopefully find out and get the rest of the baby measurements.

SORRY to those who were tricked! I still think it was pretty funny! but not as funny as my cousins boyfriend proposing to her with a fake ring then saying "April Fools!" Okay so hers was just mean but atleast she is laughing at it. I also heard of people pretending to have a heart attack. BUT the meanest trick happened to me when I was in my freshman year of college. My dad called me that wonderful April Fools morning and told me that my mom had been hurt pretty bad by a cow and was being transferred out to SLC for surgery. Me being the mommy's girl I am, started getting dressed as fast as possible and started to cry; then my dad said I'm joking, its Fools day! I hung up the phone and seriously didn't talk to him for a month or more!

So from that day on, my family hasn't played that kind of trick on me. They are clean and not so scary!
So I hope everyone had a great day and has a wonderful EASTER!
