Happy Mother's Day!
Today is such a special day. Its a day when I am reminded of just how grateful I am to have such a wonderful mother, mother in law and grandmas and also how grateful and truly blessed I am to be a mother. I love my job as mother and I wouldn't change it for anything. (Even if she doesn't take naps and is wilder than ever, I still love her!)I have had so many great examples and have learned so much from them all. I've learned to craft, cook(I must admit, I need a few more lessons), ride, work, tease, and care for others from my loving mother. I've learned to cook, clean, and worry about others from my Grandma Kathy and my Grandma Carma has always been the spiritual rock in my life. And I can't forget my sweet mother in law, she has shown me how to have fun and truly enjoy my time with family and we do some awesome shopping together!
I'm truly so blessed to be a mother and to have great and wonderful women in my life to learn from.
Aug 1, 2010 was one of the best days in my life.... that's when I became a mother to the sweetest, wildest, and cutest little girl... EVER!
Here is the little saying that was card Jo made for me in nursery:
My Hand prints
Sometimes you get discouraged because I am so small,
And always leave my hand prints on furniture and walls.
But everyday I'm growing, and I'll be grownup some day.
And all these tiny hand prints will simply fade away.
So here are my final hand prints just so you can recall
Exactly how my fingers looked when I was very small!
I loved this little poem and I'm so glad her nursery leaders took the time to trace her little wiggly hand. (I had to trick her into letting me trace it for our mom's card.)
