Honeymoon Trip!

Next week on June 15 Cody and I are headed to Alaska for our two weeks official honeymoon! I'm so freaking excited! We're going salmon fishing, halibut fishing, site seeing, deep sea fishing, whale watching, and I want to see a huge huge huge bear! I'm so stoked!

Since the wedding we have been gone every weekend traveling and visiting family. We haven't had a weekend to ourselves at home for probably 5 weeks, so we're really looking forward to the trip and of course time to ourselves and away from work!

This weekend I had a Optical Convention which I attended in Midway. We stayed at the Zermatt which is this Ritzy place, Cody kept saying.... we do not fit in here! ha ha And it was true. One of the doctor that I work for also attended the convention and he brought all his family with him. He has a little boy who just turned 4 who adores Cody. He says... there's Cody the Cowboy! At our reception he told his dad... Look there's a COWBOY! It was too cute. So it was pretty cute when the doctors wife came up to Cody and say, You're Ian's hero... you rank pretty high up on his list with Super Man! ha ha It was pretty cute.

Well I promise as soon as we our wedding pics back I'll post a few. Since we're gone all the time we haven't setup our TV or Internet so we're kinda out of the loop. The only time we get to check our emails is at work, or in between travels!

Mr. & Mrs. Pehrson

Well here we are, happily married for almost three weeks and still running like crazy! We thought that possibly after the wedding the madness would slow down but it sure hasn't. We were planning on living in Vernal, but those plans fell through so we are now in the process of moving to Roosevelt. We found a cute little four-plex to live in and we're actually moving in tonight. Since we were not planning on having to buy a bed or any furniture until we actually built our house we had went to Provo last weekend and found a really awesome bed set and also a love seat/rocker set and also a very cute couch(pics to follow)! I'm so excited to get them. We're getting them delivered on Thursday to our little red brink apartment.
So far we're really loving married life. Its definitely a change but a very good change! I love that I get to see Cody everyday, since before the marriage I was privileged to see him up to three times a week!

Thanks to everyone who came our to our sealing, diners, and receptions. They all turned out so great and beautiful. We just got our pictures back, but with all the craziness I haven't had time to get them on. This is a picture that Cody's sister took of us up at Hidden Springs. The wind was blowing kinda hard and it looked like it was going to rains so we were lucky we got these cute pics. I need to lighten them up, but I've got a wonderful mother who is photo shop awesome who could fix it all up for me!

Last night I had the opportunity to receive my endowments at the Vernal Temple, and it was the best experience I've ever had! I am so blessed to have a family that loves and supports me in all that I do. Cody's parents came all the way from Delta to go with me to the temple then drove back last night... such dedication!

I highly advise anyone and everyone who hasn't had the opportunity to go through the temple to do all they can do to get there. Its so awesome to be there with all the people you love and to know that this is what we're meant to be doing. The blessing you receive while there are so great and wonderful that until now I didn't know what I was missing out on.

Tomorrow is the BIG day!

I'm so so so ready! We're going to Manti tonight and hopefully doing a session there then getting up and getting sealed at 10:30 am to MY Dear LOVE Cody!.

I get to spend all eternity with Cody! Such a wonderful blessing!

I do have to say I have the bestest mother in the world. She and I have always been pretty close and I wouldn't change a thing.


Five reasons I love my mom:


#1 BEST COOK! She makes up her own recipes all the time and they are the best!


#2 GREAT EXAMPLE. Growing up, I didn't have to look to anyone other than my mom for advise and leadership. She was always there for me and I'm so greatful for her.


#3 SO POSITIVE. She always looks for the positive side in everything. She is always telling us good job even though we didn't alway suceed! In Rodeo she would always say, its okay that you forgot to back up your horse up at the end of a queening pattern and blew the rodeo crown and scholarship... you'll do so much better next time. ha ha (Sadly a true story!) and even though we felt bad, she'd make us feel so much better!


#4 So CRAFTY! My mom can craft anything. She could take an old worn out boot and turn it into something glam! No Joke!


#5 GREAT Horse-WOMEN... she's so great and smart on the ranch. She knows so much about the animals. I hope to know half that she knows!





Thanks mom for everything! Your the greatest and I love you so much! Also did I mention that she did all the flower for our wedding and they look so so sososos good!

I'm not really sure if I'll have very much time to blog this week... you know with the wedding and all, so I thought I'd just write a short note.

-Yesterday, my friend Jenny threw together a very delightful bridal shower for me. It was just a short noticed party so not very many people came but it was fun. My mom, Ashley, Jenny, Sharlie Jessen her two girls were the only ones able to make it, but it was fun just catching up with everyone.

-Also last night I moved some stuff over to Cody's, I'm not going to lie, its going to be a change living with a BOY... ha ha! I think I'll take my chance...

-And We went and saw Ghosts of Girlfriends past, it was pretty funny but had a lot of Adult stuff in it, but still very funny. (PS if you didn't like it, you didn't hear from me that is was good!)

Welcome to the family Cody!

On Sundays Cody and I usually take turns going to each others wards, and this week we decided to go to mine so he came to my house around 10 am, just a half hour before sacrament started. He knocked and knocked on the door and no one would answer so he just came in like he usually does and sat down in the Lazy Boy. Still there was no one in sight, when all at once my dad come waltzing around the corner dressed only in his unders holding his church clothes in his hands..... he stops dead in his track and slowly backs away. He thought that maybe the Cod-man hadn't seen him but in deed Cody had. He quickly looked down at the magazine he was reading and sheepishly grinned... What a sight! We all laughed and laughed! At least it was my dad and not my mom! Needless to say we had a great, restful Sunday!

We all took naps and just relaxed and laughed at the fact that my dad's truck broke down on the way to my little sister's rodeo in Herriman! So Saturday morning Cody and I had to go out to the rodeo and pull the trailer and horses home. It was pretty exciting.... Cody's Dodge had to go save my dad's Ford. (its a big joke around our house, which truck is better? ha ha)

So We had quite the exciting weekend, We were all pretty tired when we got home so Cody decided he'd go home early, he was putting on his boots by the door when all I hear is my mom say, OH CODY and then a door slam.... Well my mom was sneaking around the bathroom corner to close the door when Cody was putting on his boots... and YES she was her unders! Cody said he didn't even see my mom, but he sure turned red!

So Welcome to the family Cody! I guess you've seen enough to know what you got yourself into! So, for mother's day and father's day, guess what my parents are going to be getting.... ROBES! ha ha

ALSO, Only NINE more days until the big day! I'm kinda getting nervous and soooo very excited!
