On Monday the May 16th was our 2nd year anniversary!
(Our VERY 1st picture taken together!)
Things that have changed from last year:
- Had a
baby.
- Cody
changed jobs. He now works for Anadarko and seems to really like it.
- I quit my
job. (still kinda sad about this... BUT I love staying home with my girl!)
- Bought a new
truck; Red (of course) Ford F-150
-
Had a baby... I had to add this one again because this little girl has totally changed our lives. Having a little baby changes so much. A baby can add alot of stress to a marriage, BUT can bring it SO MUCH JOY!
Alot has changed this last year and I wouldn't and couldn't ask for more. Cody is the BEST Daddy and husband and Dallie Jo is such a cute and fun little blessing.
I can't wait to see what our future brings. I'm so grateful I get to spend ETERNITY with these two!
This year for our anniversary we took a little trip to Kanab, UT (YEAH!) to pick up a horse. It was such nice weather....! Not too hot, but for sure not as rainy as it has been the last two weeks in the Basin. We even got a little tan!
Dallie Jo LOVED swimming this time.
We were sitting on the side of the pool and I'd look down and she'd be tipping over and one little toe would pop out of the water. So I'd help her put it back down and she'd stand good for a little while then she'd tip over the opposite way and a little toe would pop up... Too funny!
Miss Hollywood herself!
While Cody was off chasing wild Cows.... (Really they were wild and crazy), Baby Jo and I took a little shopping trip to St. George. We found some great deals and even got a ton of baby clothes for close to 75% off all! YEAH!
I didn't think she'd like her glasses much but she does. She'll leave them on the whole time.
Cody had a pretty good time chasing those cows too. He said my Grandpa's meanest cow doesn't hold a candle to those Mean Mammas! The guy he went with said, "These cows have no bluff to them... If they look like they're going to eat you, they will."
I think we'll probably have to take another trip down so I can go. I wasn't about to lug Jo Jo on long horse back trip to chase cows that are that mean... It didn't sound too fun with a babe.
We had a great time while down south. I thought the drive would be terrible but Dallie Jo was so, So, SO GREAT! She did get tired the last 15 mins of our trip but she was a complete Angel the rest of the time. It was good to get away and just spend some time just as a family.
And this pic was from Mother's Day.
We were invited over to my cousin's mission farewell and this is Dallie Jo helping dad drive to the luncheon. Quincee said she's a better driver than her daddy!
PS our computers.... thats right computers just quit one day so now I have to mooch off of my family in order to blog or check email... Dumb computers!
