dear santa

Dear Santa,
This year please bring me a big fat bank account and a slim body
and please, don't mix them up like you did last year!
Love, Kandice

I read this on facebook and had to repost!

About us

I was reading some of my old posts and I realized I really do not write about Cody and I much. So here is an update on Dallie Jo's parentals.
As of August we have been working on getting our house plans finalized. We were working with an architect in Price then he didn't work out so now we are back at square one and are now working with a lady in Vernal so hopefully she'll be able to finish them. We didn't think the plans we had picked were that hard but I guess the minimal changes we made were a little more difficult than we had thought. So we've got out fingers crossed cuz we are at the point where we really can't move any farther in the house building process until we actually get the plans done.
We have all most all our Christmas shopping done. We went black Friday shopping in the big city of Vernal to Cal Ranch and bought a little more than expected. Miss Jo is for sure getting spoiled this year! The only person we are having a hard time getting a present for is Cody's nephew Keegan. Nothing seems fun enough for him and it has to be fun for Mr. K.... That's for sure! So we're still on the look out. As for the rest of the family, I have been busy making stuff. I've been having so much fun crafting and sewing for them. I'll post some pics if I remember to take some.
We spent Thanksgiving with my family this year and had a pretty fun time laughing at the girls and shooting some skeet's. Let's just say the girls for sure out shot the boys... Just sayin! Also that weekend Cody and Rylan started to break her steers for this year's county fair. Last year Rylan didn't show one and she was pretty disappointed that she didnt. So this year she once again went and picked her own out of the herd and these seem to be much more tame than last. Cody already has them walking and standing still... That's a pretty big thing!
December 2 we went to Cody's work Christmas party... it was alright. Last year Cod won a TV and this year they didn't do prizes but had Charlie Jenkins sing. Lets just say it probably would have been better if we were alcoholics! haha There were some pretty dunk people acting like idiots. We say... Bring back the prizes!
And yesterday for my Birthday, We went to Vernal to talk to our new architect and then Cody spoiled be by buying me some new 'hooker' boots and we went to diner at the Claim Jumper. Words of advise, the jalapeno poppers should come with a warning label, I think my taste buds are still trying to heal from the heat!
Now today... We received a little present from someone we DID NOT WANT! We got the flu bug at our house and Miss Jo has had it the worst. This morning about 4 am she woke up and we put her in bed with us and the next thing I know, she's throwing up. And she threw up every half hour until 9 am. POOR THING! But now tonight she is running around acting like the same ol' Jo so hopefully she's over it. Sick kids are almost as bad as a sick husband!

That's about it for now. We're slowly getting to the point where we might actually get a house of our own... hopefully in the next couple years! haha

16 month old girl!

Jo is now 16 months old and busier than ever! She's our little explorer and she's still very destructive to my poor little apartment. BUT she has been learning to pick up her own toys.

At 16 months she:

-She is into everything and she now loves to draw (Thanks Grandma Angie!) If she finds a pen or pencil or crayon she heads for my church bag to find a piece of paper to write on. The other day I had our house plans out looking at them and left them on the counter for like two minutes and when I came back to put them away, she had drawn all over them. Luckily it was with a pencil and they were only rough drafts! hahah
-On our kitchen table we have a table runner she can now reach it and she slowly pulls it to her to find a pen or a treat.  Little Messy Marvin!
- She wears 18-24month clothes and she's grown out of her shoes! She is in between a 4-5size shoe!
- She keeps her pony tails in, well she'll keep 1 in! I put one on top and then piggy tails and she looked pretty cute until she took out the piggys!
-She now says juice, peese (please, sometimes), horse, boys, and actually calls me Mom now; I'm no longer Daddy!
-Loves to play with Jaxie! We were able to watch Jax while the Marx's went to their Christmas party and my poor little bathroom couldn't have gotten any wetter! Those too little fishies swam and slashed just about all the water out of the tub! They had so much fun. I have a feeling Jo is going to teach Miss J some bad habits! Sorry Ash!
-When asked to, she will take wrappers to the trash can. She feels so important when we ask her to do stuff.
-She's learning her shapes. She won't say them yet but she can figure out how to put the right shape in the right place with a little help. Same with her puzzles. Little Smarty!
-She's still pretty tender hearted! When ever she gets in trouble she puckers her bottom lip and cries then runs to you and gives you a kiss. She knows exactly how to get out of trouble, a big kiss always does the trick!
-She calls Cody on the phone and talks to him with out my knowing... haha she's figures out how to unlock my phone.
- Loves to push little buttons. Our truck alarm was going off in church for quite awhile before we realized it was ours.
-Still only has 9 teeth. Three on bottom; two front and one moller and six on top; four front and two mollers. Her second moller on the bottom is slowly trying to come in.
-Our Christmas tree gets redecorated every day and the bottom half is usually bare...
-And her biggest accomplishment is.... she took a nap without her binky! haha I'm slowly trying to break her of it, but she just loves it so much!

Love you Jo!

PS today I'm feeling a little old! Yep that's right I'm now 25, but life is great and I love being a wife and Mommy! I truly have the cutest family...

Daughter like Father

This little girl is so funny! Let me just start with that...
She is getting quite the little attitude, the next picture is a perfect example of this.
She also has become very picky at what she eats. She like to eat chicken nuggets, if there is ranch and she usually only eats the chicken when she forgets not to bit the nugget! haha
On this night, Miss Jo was at home eating lunch with Daddy and he caught these cute pics... Enjoy!
Cheeser!

Love this girl!!!

Wild Hair!

Jo's hair is growing so well and she actually leaves her pony tails in.
When she wakes up she usually looks like this and I can't resist from laughing every morning!

Peeek!

Peek a boo!
Jo is constantly wanting to play peek a boo and when I try to get her attention I just say Peek-A-Boo and she comes running to play.

I thought her eyes might be turning greenish blue but they look as blue as ever!

PS that her new little hat I crocheted for her, its too cute! It has little ear flaps on it and she looks like a little pilot girl.
Miss Jo is our little swimming fishy. She still loves her bath time and has learned how to squirt the water out of her toys. She laughs and laughs as she gets Mom and Dad all wet. Little stinker!
