SANTA Baby

The Friday after Thanksgiving, SANTA CLAUS made his annual appearance at the Delta City building.
Jo being very nervous,
who thought a 2yrs bite their nails when they were nervous!
Keegan's turn...
Lexie's turn....
and the Valerio boys' turn...

Next Jo, and her comes the....
SCREAMING!
and KICKING...
and GRABBING for dad.

She hated him! I was kinda shocked, I really didn't think she would be this NAUGHTY!
She wouldn't even stand with her cousins for a group shot.

Is that child abuse? Making your kids sit on Santa's lap? ha ha
I guess Santa got to see Jo's true colors and just how Naughty she's been this year.

And Just a little funny:
This is so Jo! ha ha

Life has been pretty hectic lately. I feel like the only time I have to really settle down and take a breather is when Jo is taking a nap. Due to old, squeaky floors and doors I can't really do much while she's sleeping in fear I'll wake her up.

Seriously, we have had to make so many decisions lately. So many that my head can't keep up and I feel so tired and clouded all the time. From picking tile/paint colors/corners/grout colors/granite/where to start tile and end hardwood/lighting/etc... to which appliances are best and Christmas presents I don't even know what my name is anymore. (Yes I signed a check the other day in my maiden name! Luckily I caught my mistake.)

Aside from the house, we did have the opportunity to take off and head to Delta for Thanksgiving. And like always, Jo had a fun time playing and I liked the time away. We had a great skeet shooting contest and lets just say... Cody usually came out on top, but I did my share of knocking the boys from the top! Skeet shooting is a good stress reliever.

While in Delta, we went black Friday shopping, to IFA! ha ha Cody said you know you're a red neck when you go black Friday shopping to IFA! So I guess we are true rednecks. We also took Jo to see Santa, that's a whole new post in its self!

While we were gone, the sheet rockers finished the 1st layer of muddling and taping and the tile guys are all prepped and ready to install the tile next week. We also have a chimney, our fireplaces installed and they are FINALLY framing the porches! YEAH!

So the stress of picking out tile has really set in. All morning long I have went back and forth on what I like and what I think Cod would like. I guess that's how house building goes! They say if a marriage can outlast the construction of a home, you've got it made... And I totally agree! I guess I didn't realize how indecisive I am and how opinionated Cody is. Just when I think I know what I like, Cod said he doesn't. Ugh!

On the bright side, Jo and  I got our Christmas tree up. Jo had such a fun time pulling all the ornaments out and putting them all on one tree branch. Yes, one branch. And just when I think we have it all cute and decorated, I took Jo into her room for a nap and on the way pass the tree she gently pull on an ornament and they whole dang tree comes toppling over. So we had to decorate it twice in one day and everyday since!

House update!

This is what the house looked like before we left for Thanksgiving.
The sheet rock is all done and the power and septic are all done.

And I just had to add in this pic of the conduit I bent myself.
That's pretty good for girl! Cody said so himself!
And just look what we will get to see everyday from our from door step! I can not wait!

Little baker!

While Cod and some of his coworkers were wiring our house, Jo and I made lunch for them. She LOVEDS to cook and do dishes... Too bad we usually end up making a HUGE mess. But what fun would that be if there wasnt a big mess?!

Big girl!....

I'm a Big kid now.....
Aren't little panty butts so cute!?
NOT!

So we've been working on the potty training thing for quite a while now. I've really been pushing it the last little while, (cuz I wanted to have her going in the potty before we get in the house). Well needless to say she still isn't trained and only goes on the potty when she wants to. She has been telling me more when she is dirty or wet so that is an improvement but we've still got a littl ways so go.
I tell you, she acts just like her daddy! ha ha Head strong and stubborn but oh so funny and cute!

Halloween 2012

My cute little Spooky Ghost girl!
Jo had such a great Halloween. She loved getting dressed up and thought it was pretty fun to get candy from everyone. When we went to my Grandma Carma's house she had a kitten that Jo was playing with and Jo thought that she was getting the kitten for Halloween, she wouldn't put it down.

We had a great time with my sisters. Jo and Jax are the best of friends or the best of enemies and they were pretty good this night. Jo loved Jax's hat!
I just love these little spooks... even their moms!
And isn't this the cutest little scarecrow!
He is just Mr. Melo Yellow and him being dressed up like a scarecrow just fits his personality.

Halloween 2012

So Jo is totally her Daddy's girl. While carving pumpkins, she made the same squeamish face as he and she got really distracted with other things right in the middle. But who cares, we had alot of fun and I didn't even mind the mess... for a little bit anyways!

Some how in between drawing a face and cleaning out pumpkins, some special little doodles ended up all over Jo's arm... Hmmmm

A butter knife is Jo's best friend. She is constantly playing with them... Is that weird?
