Baby thoughts

:So did you find what was extra in our family pic? Yes that's right, we're adding another lil one to our crazy family! The baby is expected to arrive the middle of Nov... around the 15-21; which makes me about 23-24 weeks.

I feel like this pregnancy is draggin on! November seems so, so, so far away! But maybe once its no longer hot and we're out of the summer weather maybe it will come quicker. And I think Quincee just having her baby has really made me want this little one here already!

We couldn't be more excited. Jo is so happy to be getting a little baby. She points out all babies to us and she talks about Kaz's baby 'sister' keagan all the time. (Kaz actually has a baby brother and his name is Kyxton. I guess having cousins names Kyxton and Keegan is confusing)

I've had alot of people ask if we're getting a boy and the answer is... we want to be surprised. We well, mostly me wants to be surprised! The baby booties in the pic were Jo's first pair of boots and we bought them in a neutral color since we had to wait so long to see that Jo really was a girl. So stay tuned for the gender announcement in Nov.

If you ask Jo, she says its a girl and Cody says he wants a boy but thinks its a girl. I just want a healthy baby! But I think its a boy! (I also thought Jo was a boy too...)

As for this pregnancy, it started out the same as last. Sick at night and then a little in the morning.  I was looking forward to the 15 week mark cuz with Jo I wasn't sick anymore, BUT this one, I have been getting really light headed and nauseated in the morning AND at night AND in the middle of the day... but with the help of the 'magic pill' the doc gave me I can usually tolerate the sickness.

All in all I love this lil one already and am so very excited! I get a smile on my face everytime I lay down at bed time and feel it wiggling around and can't wait until Jo can actually feel it moving.

Since the time I found out I was pregnant I have been keeping a little journal of all the things Jo has said about the baby, and here are just a few:

Daddy: Dallie Jo, do you want a baby brother or sister?
Dallie: No.
Daddy: Well okay!

Daddy: Dallie Mom has a baby in her belly.
Dallie: Mom, you eat the baby?

Mommy: Dallie, do you a baby sister like Jaxie or a brother like Kaz?
Dal: Ummm, baby sister.
Daddy: Why not a brother?
Dal: Just a sister!

Mommy: Dallie do you want to go hear the baby's heart beat today?
Dal: We get the baby? I hear it beat!
Once we go to the doctors office, Jo asks the nurse: where's my baby?
Nurse: Its in your mommy's belly.
Dal: No, where is it?
As the doc was doing an ultrasound, he said: Look there's your baby! Its moving!
Jo: Look its boobing! Its boobing mom!
Doc: See its waving at you.
Jo: (waving frantically) Hi baby, I see you boobing!

After the Doc appt we called Daddy to report and Jo said, Daddy, I saw baby boobing!
Daddy: Its a girl?
Mommy: No she saw it moving!
Jo: Yeah it was boobing! I wave at it. Its tute!

Gma: Are you going to be a big sister?
Jo: Yeah! to Keegan! (she apparently loves Keegan alot!)

That's just a few of the funny things she's mentioned. I can not wait for her to meet the baby, she is so good with Kyx that I know she'll be too much help with our own baby!

New House

Finally after being in the house for ummm...
2 months I'm getting some pics posted!

Its crazy that the house went from looking like this to:
This is:
Living room
Back side of the fireplace, on the living room side
Master bedroom, I haven't gotten anything hung on the walls yet... soon!
Kitchen

Front side of the fireplace
Front door
Mudd room
Master bath tub
Master bath vanity
Cody's man shower
Dallie's room
She loves her horse sticker
Cody's light...
And lastly, an up close look of my favorite part of the house.
Can you see anything new in the pic?

There are a few other rooms but they are still cluddered with boxes, an elk head, and decorations that I don't know where to hang yet.  But we are loving our own place, we feel very comfortable and excepted in our new ward and the quietness at night is AWESOME! I would much rather hear the bawling of a cow than the roar of a truck...

Catch up 2013

Playing catch up on this fine, rainy, 4th of July.

March 2013
Grandma Carrie came to visit and brought her new little baby with her.
Sadie Dog, as Jo calls her. Jo loved her so much and wouldn't leave the poor thing alone.
She had to sleep with her and it was just our luck that is rained, and I mean rained really hard the week Grandma was here so we couldn't even go out to play. We were stuck in the apt!
And now since Gma Carrie and Gma Angie both have dogs named Sadie, Jo thinks if we ever get a girl puppy that it needs to be Sadie!

April 2013
Jo has become more and more 'girly'. She usually wears one of her princess dresses daily and will keep her hair in as long as she gets to pick the bow or how it is styled. So if you see her with all her hair things in her hair like in these pics, it was a 'Jo Day'!

And that was her dance 'dress'!

May 2013
This was the weekend we moved into our new house. We had just have a great Mother's day dinner and our families had just left. Jojo went into her new room and came out naked in her new found favorite socks! And of course she had to have a hat!
And doesn't the hat and socks show off her nice sun burnt arms as well...! Love that little girl!

June 2013

Jo has been on a take my picture kick! She asks me to take her pic all the time and she loves looking at all her funny faces.
Mom, I'm like the girls on TV (toddler and tiaras)
Apparently we watch too much TV.

Saturday, June 8, 2013

Everyday when Jo wakes up we cuddle on the couch and I ask her what do you want to do that today? And she her reply is always, "Catch the horses!" So we usually at some time during the day go down and either catch the horses or go pet them.

On this particular day, I had errands to run so I asked my mom if she would watch Jo and when I went to pick her up she had talked Gma into taking her for a little horse ride. They had just gotten done and had unsaddled the horse.

They were walking the horse back to the pasture and Jo says, "Grandma, I want to ride the horse naked!" We all start to laugh and Gma says you have to keep your clothes on...
Jo says, "No, Dude Naked!" ha ha She wanted to ride the horse (Dude) without a saddle, therefore he was naked!

Too funny for a two year old! Seriously too funny!

Jo jo moment

So just had to add a cute Jo moment:

On Wednesday we, as a family once again spent the whole day up at the house looking for odds and ends that needed to be finished.
After lunch we were taking alittle break by enjoying a little rest just laying on our new carpet. As we were all laying there, Jo starts singing, "This is my Dream Home." (From the Disney channel) Cody and I just gleamed!
I wasn't sure if she'd be okay with the move because from the time I started packing stuff until now she kept saying, "No, we can't move." (I think mostly she thought I was getting rid of all her stuff) but now she is showing so much excitement for her new room and she is so happy to get to see the horses every day! (I'm going to have to lock her in her room to keep her away from them)

PS this weekend is the weekend! Yes we are finally, after 5 extra months... MOVING IN!

Oh happy day!

PPS Happy Mother's day to you and all the other Mother's out there. There are days when I honestly wonder if I was set out to be a mother but when Jo comes up and gives me a love or says, "Oh Thanks!" and " Your welcome!" I know I must be doing something right. Being a mother is by far the very best gift and blessing in all the world! And I have to send a shout out to my Mother and Mother in Law... You guys rock and are always willing to help and lend your piece of advise. We will never be able to repay you for all you've done for us and we love you more than ever! Happy Mom's day!

Well I better go, we've go a big weekend of moving, and visitors! Yes the whole Pehrson family has volunteered to come help us move. Thanks guys!

Spring preview April 2013

Here is a preview of Jo's Spring pics I had taken yesterday afternoon.(Thanks Melinda Smith Photography!) They turned out so cute and Jo was so happy! All the way to Vernal she said, I give Kaz a pic, I give Jaxie, and Grandma, and Ry and Gampa and Ash, and Kaylee and Nuckle Kjell? She wanted everyone to have one! ha ha

She is definitely getting too big! She even wore her big girl pony panties the whole time in Vernal. I usually put a pull up on when going driving because there isn't always a place to stop but we thought we'd try it this one time... and she was so proud!

We have had a heck of a time getting these pics done. They were rescheduled 4 times due to the weather! Twice for snow and once for the wind so the 4th time we just decided to just try it since it was still a little windy but not too cold.

Seriously who wouldn't love this girl? We sure do!
I can't wait to hang these in our NEW House!
Yep that's right, we'll be in real soon. Real soon as in this weekend or the next! YEAH!
