I feel like this pregnancy is draggin on! November seems so, so, so far away! But maybe once its no longer hot and we're out of the summer weather maybe it will come quicker. And I think Quincee just having her baby has really made me want this little one here already!
We couldn't be more excited. Jo is so happy to be getting a little baby. She points out all babies to us and she talks about Kaz's baby 'sister' keagan all the time. (Kaz actually has a baby brother and his name is Kyxton. I guess having cousins names Kyxton and Keegan is confusing)
I've had alot of people ask if we're getting a boy and the answer is... we want to be surprised.
If you ask Jo, she says its a girl and Cody says he wants a boy but thinks its a girl. I just want a healthy baby! But I think its a boy! (I also thought Jo was a boy too...)
As for this pregnancy, it started out the same as last. Sick at night and then a little in the morning. I was looking forward to the 15 week mark cuz with Jo I wasn't sick anymore, BUT this one, I have been getting really light headed and nauseated in the morning AND at night AND in the middle of the day... but with the help of the 'magic pill' the doc gave me I can usually tolerate the sickness.
All in all I love this lil one already and am so very excited! I get a smile on my face everytime I lay down at bed time and feel it wiggling around and can't wait until Jo can actually feel it moving.
Since the time I found out I was pregnant I have been keeping a little journal of all the things Jo has said about the baby, and here are just a few:
Daddy: Dallie Jo, do you want a baby brother or sister?
Dallie: No.
Daddy: Well okay!
Daddy: Dallie Mom has a baby in her belly.
Dallie: Mom, you eat the baby?
Mommy: Dallie, do you a baby sister like Jaxie or a brother like Kaz?
Dal: Ummm, baby sister.
Daddy: Why not a brother?
Dal: Just a sister!
Mommy: Dallie do you want to go hear the baby's heart beat today?
Dal: We get the baby? I hear it beat!
Once we go to the doctors office, Jo asks the nurse: where's my baby?
Nurse: Its in your mommy's belly.
Dal: No, where is it?
As the doc was doing an ultrasound, he said: Look there's your baby! Its moving!
Jo: Look its boobing! Its boobing mom!
Doc: See its waving at you.
Jo: (waving frantically) Hi baby, I see you boobing!
After the Doc appt we called Daddy to report and Jo said, Daddy, I saw baby boobing!
Daddy: Its a girl?
Mommy: No she saw it moving!
Jo: Yeah it was boobing! I wave at it. Its tute!
Gma: Are you going to be a big sister?
Jo: Yeah! to Keegan! (she apparently loves Keegan alot!)
That's just a few of the funny things she's mentioned. I can not wait for her to meet the baby, she is so good with Kyx that I know she'll be too much help with our own baby!
