Well I guess I have an obsession with buying and trying new hair stuff... stuff as in shampoo and conditioner. Cody so nicely pointed this out to me as he was trying to find his stuff on his shelf in the bathroom.
Sad to say, he grounded me (what a mean dad, I mean husband) from buying anymore until I had used all the ones that were half empty (or half full) ha ha. So today I pulled out all the ones which needed used and there were a whopping 7 bottles!
Okay so maybe I needed to be grounded...

Thought of the day...
This is the text convo I just has with my mom:
Mom: Did you know that your Aunt Stacy would have been 41 today! An old lady like me! Yahoo!
Me: Happy birthday to her! I'm sure she's having more fun than us, most likely laughing at us! ha ha Miss her!
Mom: I miss her too! Just think what she told your kids before they came to earth and what to put you through while here! Ha ha I'm sure she did!... along with sweet kisses and hugs!

I just had to share this because I'm sure it is so true.. I'm sure my dear Aunt Stacy did tell my sweet little girl to give us all heck! I seriously miss her so much! I think of her all the time and it seems just like yesterday we were up in the mountains riding horses. She would always say, "Boy Kandice, did you gas up your horse today?" (whenever our horses would pass gas while riding them) And I would laugh so hard! And if were being wild and crazy she'd say, "I'm going to box your ears!"
Just the other day my sister Ashley and I was talking about her. We were saying how our girls were about the same age Rylan was when Stacy passed away. Rylan was about 18 month and Chase was 10, I think. When I left Ash's house I just broke down, I can't imagine leaving my little girl at her age. Granite Stacy is in a better place, I can't imagine how hard it was for her and she truly fought until the very end. Its kinda crazy how much Rylan reminds me of her mom. She rides like her, she acts like her and has that pretty blond hair! And that blond hair goes along with her cute, funny, air headed personality and she teases the same way Stac did! Poor Rylan gets followed around by Dallie Jo the way I'm sure I did to Stacy.
This same pic was given to me and whenever I see it, I imagine its indeed my Aunt helping us long the way. Helping us learn from our mistakes and making us feel comforted by her passing. I feel her sweet spirit when I'm having a hard day and she is always there when we're having fun! Whenever I go fishing or camping I think of the time her and my mom were fishing and caught a muskrat... ha ha ha. Mom was prego with Quincee and Stacy & and mom were freaking out and throwing rocks at it. What a sight!
I can't believe that this last February it has been 12 years since she left us... 12 years! It seems just like yesterday!
I can't believe that this last February it has been 12 years since she left us... 12 years! It seems just like yesterday!
Well that's my thoughts for today, lets just end with CANCER SUCKS and I hope that someday a cure can be found so others won't have to loose their love ones! Miss you Stacy and I think of you almost everyday!

Mamma said...
Mamma said there'd be days like this, there'd be days like this my mamma said......
Oh boy, what a day! I woke up this morning with every intention of having a great day cuz well today is Cody and I's 3 year anniversary. I had so many things I wanted to get done. I got right up baked a cake (I have to bake it early in the day cuz Jo was asleep still and our little apt gets too hot in the afternoon to run our oven. We haven't put up our ac yet...) After baking the cake I made Jo breakfast, washed strawberries to dip them in chocolate for our anniversary dinner and called our contractor to get his contractor's # so I could submit our building permit....
That is where everything went down hillllllll.....
I couldn't get hold of him, so I left a message and about that time Jo spilt her whole breakfast all over the floor and all over herself. So after I cleaned her up we got ready for the day and while I took a shower jo was suppose to be watching a movie (we do this every morning and she is usually very good to sit and watch it) well this time she tore the whole house apart. Granite our house is probably 100 square feet it is possible to pull everything out in less than 15 minutes.
I calmly picked up the mess and with Jo's help we put all her clothes which she had pulled out back and reorganized her toys... fine that needed done anyways. After getting thing picked up it was time for Jo's nap so I put her down to sleep and I want outside to clean out Cody's truck as a little/lame anniversary present. I had just gotten everything out and ready to vacuum when I hear, MOMMMA! It was Jo calling to me from our front window, the tornado was awake. Reluctantly we I went and got her and we finished cleaning the truck (not as well as I wanted but it still looked nice). We went in for lunch and while Jo was eating her lunch I started to dip the strawberries, which went pretty until I got the call...
The call that our contractor thought he wouldn't be able to contract our house, he thought he'd be too busy with other projects... I fell apart! After getting off the phone I burst into tears and called Cod and said, "We're not meant to have house!" and while this all was happening Jo was screaming at the top of her lungs for a Popsicle!
After Cody calmed my nerves I hung up the phone and just had the feeling of 'what are we going to do now!' Cuz well this is the 2nd, Let me repeat 2nd contractor who had backed out on us!
If it wasn't for bad luck we wouldn't have any luck at all!
And to add to this most wonderful day, while on a quick run to the store to get stuff for our AC unit, Jo grabbed a bottle of fingernail polish and decided to paint her toe nails! I caught her just in time before she got it all over.. she just had it on her hand, feet, arms, and legs but not her clothes or the floor.. I promise I am an attentive mother... really!
So that's been our day thus far! I hope the rest is uneventful and hopefully we'll get something figured out soooooon on our house.... we thought we had twice now but maybe the 3rd time is the charm!
THAT ASIDE I want to end on a good note, as of 10 am this morning Cody and I have been married for 3 years! And besides all the crazy house stuff and living in a tiny apt, we've a pretty good time and we have a beautiful daughter to show for it! Love you Cod!

Little Hands
Happy Mother's Day!
Today is such a special day. Its a day when I am reminded of just how grateful I am to have such a wonderful mother, mother in law and grandmas and also how grateful and truly blessed I am to be a mother. I love my job as mother and I wouldn't change it for anything. (Even if she doesn't take naps and is wilder than ever, I still love her!)I have had so many great examples and have learned so much from them all. I've learned to craft, cook(I must admit, I need a few more lessons), ride, work, tease, and care for others from my loving mother. I've learned to cook, clean, and worry about others from my Grandma Kathy and my Grandma Carma has always been the spiritual rock in my life. And I can't forget my sweet mother in law, she has shown me how to have fun and truly enjoy my time with family and we do some awesome shopping together!
I'm truly so blessed to be a mother and to have great and wonderful women in my life to learn from.
Aug 1, 2010 was one of the best days in my life.... that's when I became a mother to the sweetest, wildest, and cutest little girl... EVER!
Here is the little saying that was card Jo made for me in nursery:
My Hand prints
Sometimes you get discouraged because I am so small,
And always leave my hand prints on furniture and walls.
But everyday I'm growing, and I'll be grownup some day.
And all these tiny hand prints will simply fade away.
So here are my final hand prints just so you can recall
Exactly how my fingers looked when I was very small!
I loved this little poem and I'm so glad her nursery leaders took the time to trace her little wiggly hand. (I had to trick her into letting me trace it for our mom's card.)

Pick Pocket Pehrson
This weekend we had the wonderful opportunity to go to the temple and see my cousin Toni C. get married in the Draper Temple. We also were able to work in a very, very, very early morning session which was wonderful too.
While we were at the temple, we left Miss Jo with Grandma Carrie in Spanish Fork. Grandma was so excited to have her and Jo just about jumped out of my arms into gma's when we got to Cody's sister's house that morning.
Grandma had this to report:
Jo, Grandma, Kache, Kohlbin and Aunt Kristen had a great time jumping on the tramp, playing in the sand, going for a bike ride and getting an icey. Well earlier in the day, Gma gave Jo some money and Jo put that in her pocket. (She loves money! She's always begging for more and when she gets it she puts in her pocket or in her piggy bank... which i had it just about full!) Well when they got to the snow shack, so gave her money to Kohlbin and then asked Gma for more. Gma said, "you already took mine." So to check for herself, Jo stuck her hand in Gma's pocket to make sure she wasn't fibbing. Well since Gma didn't have any, she worked her way to Kristen, then Kohlbin, then the man behind them in line and then the girl behind him! Gma said to the man and girl, "This is how we taught our kids to pay for their ice's! ha ha ha
Well they proceed to eat their iceys and Gma said they we covered from head to toe in sugar stickiness!
I would have died if I were there... Seriously, I promise we didn't teach her that! Gma said it was pretty cute and so funny to see the man and girl's shocked faces!
So not only do we have to get Jo to stop saying no, but we have to teach her about stealing... at 1 3/4yrs old! AWE!
PS if you ever get to the Draper temple, notice (well its hard not to notice) all the HUGE homes which surrounds the temple. I honestly couldn't believe them, they are ginormous! Just saying... Go check them out. AND Congrats Toni and Kyle, you two are a perfect couple.

Dallie Dailys
A few new Jo things:
-Dallie has started calling her Daddy... 'CODY!' Its seriously so funny! Cody doesn't like it but I think its hillarious and she got it from me.... cuz whenever I get dinner ready and Jo and I are sitting there waiting on him I say, "Cody! Come on!"
-Today while babysitting Miss Jaxie, the girls got a little quiet and I went into Jo's room to investigate and there was jo reading a book to J and her two babies. Serious the cutest thing I've ever seen.
-She also says No to everything along with a little finger waving. Its not a very good habit! Well on Saturday we went to the temple after we got done fishing and Jo rode home from Vernal with Grandma and Grandpa Fisher and I was told that Jo and Gma had a little stand off. Jo said, "No." to Gma and Gma said, "We don't say no to Grandma." And that resulted in a little fight. Ha ha I can only imagine!
-Last night while eating dinner, Jo was a little naughty. She wouldn't sit down in her chair she kept tell us no and in a result to that Cody says, "Dallie if you say no one more time you'll go into time out. Do you want to go into time out?" Jo's response was, "No!" I said come on Honey, what else was the poor girl suppose to say?... Yes dad I want to go to time out..." ha ha

Fishing 2012
Fishing 101:
Catch this fish, Clean the fish, Eat the fish!
And that's just what we did!
Yesterday we were lucky enough to get away and do some fishing for the first time this year. We made the little trip up to Matt Warner and knocked them dead! Seriously/literally... ha ha
Jo wasn't too set on fishing at first cuz it was a little windy and kinda chilly but as soon as she saw the fish she was thrilled!
Look at her face! Too funny! She liked watching the fish but when it came to touching it she didn't want to. Cody said, "Give it a kiss!" She yelled, "NO!"
Close up!
PS that big one is mine!
All tuckered out.
If you notice, down by her belly she is showing a little skin... well that little bit of skin got a little sunburn. She's going to have an awesome tan line!
So in the past, Cody and I haven't had much luck fishing since Alaska. The few times we've gone we've caught very little, if any at all.
BUT this time we actually had to start throwing fish back cuz we were over our limit!
Lets just say, we'll be going again for sure!
PS the fish was mighty tasty. It made a great Sunday dinner
