Spring preview April 2013

Here is a preview of Jo's Spring pics I had taken yesterday afternoon.(Thanks Melinda Smith Photography!) They turned out so cute and Jo was so happy! All the way to Vernal she said, I give Kaz a pic, I give Jaxie, and Grandma, and Ry and Gampa and Ash, and Kaylee and Nuckle Kjell? She wanted everyone to have one! ha ha

She is definitely getting too big! She even wore her big girl pony panties the whole time in Vernal. I usually put a pull up on when going driving because there isn't always a place to stop but we thought we'd try it this one time... and she was so proud!

We have had a heck of a time getting these pics done. They were rescheduled 4 times due to the weather! Twice for snow and once for the wind so the 4th time we just decided to just try it since it was still a little windy but not too cold.

Seriously who wouldn't love this girl? We sure do!
I can't wait to hang these in our NEW House!
Yep that's right, we'll be in real soon. Real soon as in this weekend or the next! YEAH!

After Cody got home from work last night, Jo runs up to him and says,
"I got a new fishing pole. Shhhh its a secret!"

Little turkey saw her Easter present; usually she forgets but I guess she's getting to the age where I need to be a little sneaker....

Hunting expo

Sorry to all the men at the hunting expo this weekend, if you saw a wild 2 yr old running around, she was Cody's girl for the day!

Yep, I shipped them all off while I stayed home to study my Young Women's lesson and to help Rylan at the FFA Sweetheart contest (She was 1st attendant! Good Job RY!) Along with Cody, My dad and his brother Scott met up with Cody's family at the expo.

About 2pm, I get a call from Cody. I answer the phone and Cody said, "Guess what I did?" I said, "What? Loose Dallie?" ha ha He continued to tell me the funnest story I had heard in quite awhile.

Okay so the main reason so many men go to these expo is to put their names in for the draw of all the goooood hunting tags. Well, Cody put in for the Dall sheep along with many others... but Dall sheep is really what he's always wanted to get.

All the men decided to attend the drawing of the tags and when it came to the Dall sheep tag, the announcer said, "If your from Roosevelt, UT, please stand up." So Cody stands up and looks around and he is the only one standing and immediately his Dad says, "You lucky sucker, you won!" Cody starts hooping and hollering and runs to the front of the room. Well as he gets up there the announcer says, you don't look like a Stephanie to me... The announcer had looked at the real winner's email that said Roosevelt something. Cody was so embarrassed! He said, "I'll be whatever you want me to be for that tag!" So he sadly took his seat while a women goes up and takes his dream tag... Poor guy!

Cody also said every time someone buggled the elk horn she would grab Cody's face and say, "Dad, you hear that?" Everytime, without fail! ha ha

All in all they said they had a great day! They were able to see some great mounts and put their names in for some other draws. But best of all, Cody was able to spend some one on one time with Jo and they really enjoyed themselves and I enjoyed a quiet Saturday morning all to myself. It was a bit weird to be able to take a shower with out worrying what I would find when I got out.

And I was so glad that they didn't loose Jo... It only took: a Dad, 2 Grandpas (Mathews and Pehrson), Great Grandad Bayles, 1 Great Uncle (Scott Mathews), 3 Uncles (Trav, Kjell, Don), 1 Aunt (Kristen), 2 cousins (Kohlbin and Kashe) and a girlfriend (Uncle Kjell's GF) to keep track of Miss Dallie Jo. When really it was Cody who they should have taken control of!

Lastly, I asked Cody if he seen anyone he knew and he said, yeah I saw alot after I made a fool of myself! I wish someone could have video taped it!

Now I'm going tack, relax and wait to hear the funny stories they come home with!

What a MORNING!

Our morning began at 3AM when Jo came in and said, "Mom I go potty!" I jumped out of bed thinking she was actually telling me that she needed to go but instead she was telling me that she was soaking wet... panties, pants, sheets, blankets and all! Yep, I forgot to put her night time pull ups on and sent her to bed in her big girl pants.

So I quickly ended up changing her sheets, clothes and she went back to bed with us.

Then our morning RE-BEGAN at 6:45AM when I quickly woke up Cody and said, "Why are you still sleeping? Its a quarter to seven!" Cody jumps out of bed and says, "Shiz, I'm so late!" His phone, which he uses as his alarm clock was dead... so that equals to no annoying noises in the morning. Which also led to him not getting any of the call out messages from his coworkers, calling him back to work! AWE! He was so ticked!

After Cody quickly took his morning shower and headed out the door, I put on a movie for Jo and jumped in the shower... Well I get out, get dressed and I hear little Missy rustling around in the kitchen. To my surprise, she had pulled out the cake I made for Cod to take for a lunch time treat and she had eaten all the frosting off the whole cake... yes the whole cake! When I asked her what she was doing she said, "I hungry mom! I hungry!"

Needless to say, we don't have any more cake and we will have every alarm clock we own set for in the morning!

Welcome to the wild life of the Pehrsons!

Sundays

Sundays always bring a new adventure to our family!
I never know how Jo will act going into nursery and I never know what she will do in sacrament.

Well this Sunday, I dropped her off at nursery... No screaming... YES!

I pick her up from nursery... No screaming... YES!

We sit through sacrament... No screaming... Well acutally there was a bit of clapping and cheering once the speaker was done! (Which was followed by the laughter of the whole congregation!) That's not the same as screaming... YES!

Yep! That's my girl!

Birthday boy!

Happy, Happy Birthday Cody!

Today is Cody's birthday and this little daddy is 31!
Yeah.. 3-1!
What an old fart! jk!

These pics were from August 2012. Cody was helping Rylan with her Duchesne County show steer, so it only fits to have pics of what he loves to do.
Cody and Ry sheering the steer.
Cody lives for this kind of stuff!
Doesn't 'Doby' look good?
Cody is an excellent teacher and Jo and Rylan are excellent students

And of course we have to throw in one of Jo, she was always 'feeding the cow'!

Cody is seriously the best dad and is always willing to help. And Miss Jo loves him more than anyone. She is always so excited to see him when he gets home (she's never excited to see me...) and she is his little mocking bird.
He is a bit OCD when is comes to our house and work but we want him any other way! haha

Happy Birthday Big Boy!

Jo and Jax funnies & House update!

Well for about a year now I've been watching my sister Ashley's little girl every Tuesday (give or take a few day). We really do enjoy having Miss J and Jo loves playing with her...

But there are those days when they just fight the whole day or they make messes of EVERYTHING,

Well today is one of those 'Messes' days! It all started with the blocks, then the books, then the sheets on Jo's bed gets ripped off, followed by them scattering my folded laundry while I was picking up the other messes. After picking all that up, I had a few things I need to get done for the house. I was working on a draw on the computer and I thought they were suppose to be watching a movie. I took a quick glance from the kitchen and they were gone!

All of a sudden... I hear the toilet flush and I run in the bathroom to find Jaxie (luckily she was dry still) straddling the toilet seat and laughing as she droped a whole handful of wet wipes down the hole...

Yeah... there was wipes everywhere and the toilet was plugged! And all the while this was going on Jo was sitting on her stool putting eye shadow all over her face. Seriously I had only been working on that draw sheet for 2 MINUTES! Quick little wits!

Needless to say, the toilet works now and Jo looks pretty snazzy with eyeshadow on her nose! What little stinkers....

On a side note, yesterday we got our cabinets installed in the house! They looks soooooo good! I really like them. At first glance when they were unloading them I was completely sure they were the wrong color and I drove to my mom's crying because I was afraid that yet again something had gone completely wrong with the house. So like a good Mom, she dragged be back to the house to check things out and this time they had the faces on the cabinets and some were hung and they looked beautiful!

I guess we need to get the idea that everything in the house is bad... things seem to really becoming together. The drywall inside the house is complete and they are just mudding the garage today. The tile is done and they are working on getting the closet shelves in and moldings come Wednesday! YEAH!
