Last chance...

Today is your last day to vote on the sex of our baby. WE are so very excited to find out TOMORROW we can hardly contain ourselves! I have now kinda changed my mind and I think it'll be a girl... we'll see. I've just so happy and so very excited to be able to have a little child and I hope I can be the mother it needs me to be. I have had very good examples to follow so I hopefully I can figure it all out. I know the Cod man will be the best dad ever and no matter what we have, that baby will be loved more than anything!

SO cast your vote now, the race is pretty close!

Hats off to the man/women who invented Saltine Crackers! They're a pregnant women's best friend.... They have been mine since the get go...!

PS to those of you who have not tried these new MINI saltines, run to the store and stock up! They're the best in salads, soups and just a hand full when feeling a bit nauseated.

What a relief! That was a hard secret to keep, expecially since I have been sick. I'm pretty sure no one suspected, except the ladies I work with. Being, they know when I'm at work and when I 'need to leave a bit early' every four weeks... ha ha.

I am due August 4th, so that makes me 16 weeks along. It seriously seems like we just found out... I sometimes forget that I'm actually pregnant unil I get my usually stomachache at night and then I remember why I get sick.

It didn't feel real until the morning of February 8, when I first felt the baby. I was getting ready for work and I sat down for a minute to watch the news and eat some breakfast when I got the sudden itch of a sneeze coming on. After sneezing I felt my stomach kinda move and kinda rumble. I texted Cody and said, "I think I just felt something in my stomach and I don't think it was gas bubbles! I sneezed, and I must have scared/woke him/her up!" Since then I've felt 'it' once in awhile and its so exciting each time!

Now the real question is, "What are we going to have!?" My doctor said we should be able to tell what it is at our next appointment. I hate calling it an it so I keep calling it a boy cuz thats what I think I'm having. More like wishfull thinking! ha ha
We'll be more than happy to take a boy or a girl. All we ask for it is a healthy and strong baby... Cody was actually hoping for twins, and after a bit of talking into it I thought it would be great too. Only one time of being sick for two babies..... ha ha.

So I've seen others do this and I thought it was cool; please take our quiz and tell me what you think we'll have. Remember I just said I was wishfully thinking it was a boy.... ha ha

So What will it be? Cowboy or Cowgirl?

Yes it is true we are expecting a little buddle of joy the first of August and we couldn't be more excited!
So to all the little rumors going around are true.... well the ones about the baby!

PS Sorry to Chelsy Cooper, she asked me last night if I was but I couldn't tell because we hadn't told my family yet!

Long over due!

WOW! Where have the time gone? Next week is February and I haven't posted since December! So here's a quick update.

December:
-Cody and I spend Christmas at his parents and we had a blast! The grandkids were fun to watch open their presents Christmas morning, and boy did Santa Bring them a ton! Toys, Trucks, tools, cleaning toys and dollies.... you name it, one of them got it. But you know how the saying goes, its fun to see them come and good to see them go. I'm sure thats exactly how Cody's mom Carrie felt. We had a blast but were ready to get back to our quiet little house with no kids fighting over toys! We had a great Christmas!
-For New Years Eve we just kept it simple and went to diner and a movie. We didn't even stay up to see the New Year in. I remember waking up in the night and seeing that it was 12 am and I think I wished Cody a Happy New Years but then just fell back to sleep. (Yep We've fallen into the mode of an old married couple.)
We went and saw the Movie Blindside New Years Eve and I hightly recommend it. Its great and we can all learn a good lesson on service and helping others out! I'm not saying that I would take a big teenager into my home, but I might think of helping find a place... ha ha! I'm not quite to Sandra Bullock's level yet! After the movie, we were headed home and there were cop cars swarming the parking lot looking for something or someone. We pulled out of the parking lot and there were kids in handcuffs and there were more cops going through other parking lots and peoples back yards looking for someone. I was like, we could rob a bank tonight and not get caught because the cops are all around the movie house. I bet there were 12 cop cars there..... Just to make it clear, WE DID NOT ROB A BANK, we're still poor!

January:
-This last month has flown by and I can't really even remember when we did. Cody's work has gotten really busy and the Vision Clinic is pretty busy as well so we've just been working.
-We've been to aton of basketball games as well. Quincee is a junior this year and is playing varsity full time. And by full time I mean she never gets a break in the ball game, NO SUBS! Her team is doing pretty good this year and should be ranked higher but they're just lacking a little self confidence. Quincee rocks at three pointers! It's so fun to see her improve over the years.... lets just say her freshman year was a bit scary and I don't think she ever handled the ball with out traveling. GO LADY LONGHORNS! YOU CAN DO IT!
-Other than work and ball games we do nothing! Our weekends go too fast and we hate Mondays!

Februay:
-In February it will be two years since I met Cody. We're very lucky that we did meet.... Thanks Kit and Jenny! If it wasn't for a still small voice, prompting Cody to take a job in Vernal while he was working in Alaska, we would never have met. We are truely meant to be together and so greatful for every day!
-I look forward to Valentines because I love having a Valentine! Last year Cody gave me the cute picture of our names on the tree and I gleam everytime I see it.
-Coder's birthday is also this month! He's getting pretty old! ha ha, but you wouldn't know it. He still acts like a little kid!
-Also this month we're hoping to go to region wrestling, region girls basketball, state wrestling and state girls basketball. Go AHS! We're so good at supporting the teams we like to watch... ha ha!
-I'm also feeling a little crafty. After Christmas I was a bit crafted out, but I've had a month to rest and I'm ready to get my juices flowing.... So if you have any ideas, send them my way!

Thats about it! I can't think of anymore! Pictures to follow...
So Merry Late Christmas and Happy Late New Year. I hope everyone is in good health and enjoying 2010. I think our New Year will be great!

One year ago today!....

One Year ago today Cody proposed to me!
It was such a special night and I was completely surprised!

The man I love more than anything, giving me the most beautiful ring, with the perfect proposal equals the best night ever!

(to read how he proposed go to my #1 blog, it explains everything there!)

Love you Coder!

Birthday and Christmas!

A few Weeks ago it was my 23 birthday! I'm getting old! ha ha It was pretty much another normal day for me but Cody yet again surprised me with roses at work and then he bought me a shelf I have been wanting! I know I'm very spoiled!
I told Cody that the roses look so in place on our bedroom cabinet that he should bring me some weekly... he just laughed! ha ha

Merry early Christmas to everyone! I feel like it should still just be my birthday and not jsut a few days before Christmas.... But I'm very excited to head to Delta to spend some time with the inlaws.
For my birthday my wonderful mother-in-law sent me a ton of very cute western Christmas ornaments and I love them so so so much! So I had to take some pictures of our cute tree. You can't see the details very well but I love it!

It looks like its leaning a bit in the picture but I think its standing straight in our house.... PS I love our star... Its an EBAY special! ha ha

Cody's Friend Adam hand wood burnt this bulb last year. They're so awesome and he's so talented! We have moose, elk, deer, horse, geeese.... and so so many others but the wolf is my favorite!

Here's my old College Christmas tree. Its been through alot. It was actually my Great Grandma LaRue's tree and it was given to me because my grandmas always said, "Everyone should have a Christmas tree on Christmas!"

PS Leandra do you remember the quilt we made in Mrs. Fausett's class our senior year? Yep here's mine, My mom had it quilted up for our wedding and it looks great... other than all the mistakes I made! ha ha

Well everyone, have a very Merry Christmas and I hope see you I the new year! 2010 sounds pretty weird!
Happpy Christmas!
