My Doctor called and said.... APRIL FOOLS!

I'm not usually do not pull pranks or try to trick anyone because I usually can't pull them off....Well this year I decided to tease every by saying that my baby doctor had called and said we were have a BOY... Well a few people commented on this facebook post and a few others caught on so I finally spilled the beans and told that is was a joke, but there were a ton of my other friends who didn't catch on. As of this morning they still thought I was getting a boy.....

So, to set the record straight: We DO NOT know what we are having and We ARE going in next week to hopefully find out and get the rest of the baby measurements.

SORRY to those who were tricked! I still think it was pretty funny! but not as funny as my cousins boyfriend proposing to her with a fake ring then saying "April Fools!" Okay so hers was just mean but atleast she is laughing at it. I also heard of people pretending to have a heart attack. BUT the meanest trick happened to me when I was in my freshman year of college. My dad called me that wonderful April Fools morning and told me that my mom had been hurt pretty bad by a cow and was being transferred out to SLC for surgery. Me being the mommy's girl I am, started getting dressed as fast as possible and started to cry; then my dad said I'm joking, its Fools day! I hung up the phone and seriously didn't talk to him for a month or more!

So from that day on, my family hasn't played that kind of trick on me. They are clean and not so scary!
So I hope everyone had a great day and has a wonderful EASTER!

Round #2= FAILURE!
We went in yesterday to our "BIG Ultrasound" where they measure all the little bones, the brain and other body parts.... and we were hoping to once again find out the sex of the babe, but the little person had its legs crossed so tight that the tech couldn't see anything!
I'm kinda to the point where I'm okay with not finding out..... ha ha NOT!
Its kinda funny now, because its like the babe is playing a trick on us.
This is the side profile of our little one, its little hand is by its mouth like its sucking its thumb and you can see its little legs.
And this is the picture of the babe's little legs crossed oh so tight! The top left hand side of the picture is the feet crossed at the ankles and then its legs and then its head. Its a good thing the tech explained this picture to us because I don't think I could have distingished what all that is in there!

Other than not finding out what the baby is, we had a great visit. The baby is right on track with the healthy side of the development schedule!
Its so awesome how they can measure all the little bones, and see the brain and even see the liver, kidneys, and heart up close!

Cody asked, "How is it they can see all those little organs and know what they are but they can't see what it is.....?!?"

Still waiting!

Most people who know me.... Know I'm not very patient! So when I got the call from my doctor today asking me to reschedule our ultrasound, I was a little ticked!
I'm going crazy, not knowing what we are having!
Ha ha.... Patience is a viture, I suppose!
So instead of knowing the sex of the babe at my ultrasound which should have been tomorrow afternoon, we have to wait another week...
Okay so only four days, but that is four days longer which could kill me!

PS: I learned how to crochet! I've made two little rag things as practice and I'm going to start two recieving blankets as soon as the store gets the right color of crochet thread! Dang, I need to learn some patience!

PPS: Crocheting is kind of addicting!

Next week we go in for our BIG ultrasound. I'm pretty excited, Hopefully the little babe will be nice and let us see what it is....

Lately, I've been feeling so much better! I actually come home from work at night and actually do stuff other than collaspe on the couch! And I can cook diner with out gagging! With all this new energy I have been wanting to start getting ready for our baby. I want to make blankets, make little crafts and just buy all the baby stuff! So here is a few things I've seen which I plan on making/buying when we finally find out what we're having.

There is still a ton of other stuff, but I'll just start with a few...

Maybe its a good thing it won't reveal its self.... its saving daddy.... I mean us Money! ha ha

I've heard of people making these diaper cakes and I thought they were cute, but this diaper cake rocks my world!

Doctor Appointment

I was so excited for my appointment which ended up being a disappointment! ha ha We thought we'd be able to find out the sex of our baby but the little bugger was facing the wrong way! The doctor tried many different angles but wasn't able to find out. BUT it was so cute seeing its little head, neck and spine. We also got to see its hands and feet; pretty much everything but the 'area' we wanted to see the most! ha ha It was good to hear that 'its' still developing on schedule and seeing the heartbeat takes my breath away every time....

I told Cody... its as stubborn as you and likes to keep its mommy guessing! We saw it waive its hand a couple of times and I said, it's probably saying, "Ha ha Mommy, I fooled you!"

We're keeping our fingers crossed that we'll be able to see it in two weeks at our big ultrasound. So for now, 'it' is still an 'it', but hopefully only for a few more weeks!

I found this picture the other day and I loved it, Its so comforting to know that my little baby is still up with is Heavenly Father getting ready to come down and teach Cody and I, And I'm sure we have a ton to learn!

Last chance...

Today is your last day to vote on the sex of our baby. WE are so very excited to find out TOMORROW we can hardly contain ourselves! I have now kinda changed my mind and I think it'll be a girl... we'll see. I've just so happy and so very excited to be able to have a little child and I hope I can be the mother it needs me to be. I have had very good examples to follow so I hopefully I can figure it all out. I know the Cod man will be the best dad ever and no matter what we have, that baby will be loved more than anything!

SO cast your vote now, the race is pretty close!

Hats off to the man/women who invented Saltine Crackers! They're a pregnant women's best friend.... They have been mine since the get go...!

PS to those of you who have not tried these new MINI saltines, run to the store and stock up! They're the best in salads, soups and just a hand full when feeling a bit nauseated.
