Christmas tree?!

• Every year I usually like to have the Christmas Tree up before my birthday...
• When I was younger it was a HAVE TO have the Christmas Tree up before my birthday.
• This year, I decided to wait until it snowed.... Well that happened yesterday so I guess I'm putting up my Christmas Tree TODAY!

There is just something about the looks of a Winter Wonderland from the warmth of your home with the glow of a Christmas Tree...

November Thankfuls

November is a great month to sit and ponder of the things and people you are most thankful for. With Thanksgiving next week, I thought I'd list all the things I'm so grateful to have in my life and to remind me just how lucky I am. Every one should try it!

25 Things I Am Most Thankful For:

#25- Disposable Diapers! So glad I don't have to wash those gross cloth diapers. Some times it's hard/nauseating to change a disposable one knowing you can just throw it away, can you imagine having to scrub them clean... Thank goodness I don't have to!
#24- Washer and Dryer. So if I had to use the cloth diapers I could just throw them in there to wash.
#23- Modern Technology. Computers, cellphones, TVs, the internet. I really, really, really like the Internet! I almost went crazy without it and its so easy to find answers and when new technology is used wisely and for good it is a great blessing. Cody is going to roll his eyes when he read this, but I really do like to text. I love being able to text someone something whenever I want and even when I don't want to talk to them. (This doesn't mean when I text you that I don't like to talk to you, I'm just not much of a talker on the phone.)
#22- Make up and hair spray. I like having the option to try and look good.
#21- Hand sanitizer. There are some gross germs out there and its good being able to just freshen up with a little hand sanitizer with out having to find a bathroom that actually has soap in it.
#20- Modge Podge. I Podge EVERYTHING!
#19- Nap times. I love it when Dallie Jo has her naps. It gives me a time unwind and just relax.
#18- My Religion. Having the knowledge of the LDS gospel helps me get through life's hard times.
#17- Nature/Animals. While growing up I have had the opportunity to be in nature a lot. I love being able to ride horses in the mountains and enjoy nature and the animals. There is nothing better than hearing the birds chirping and the wind blowing through the trees. So thankful that I live so close to the mountains so I can enjoy nature in its fullest.
#16- Diner Time. Diner is when we can gather as a family and enjoy some good food. I really don't like cooking the diner but I do enjoy diner conversations.
#15- The community I grew up in. Altamont was a great place to be raised and I hope someday Cody and I will get back up there. I loved knowing everyone and how they come together to help everyone in their time of needs.
#14- Friends. Its so great that whenever I need advise or just someone to talk to I can just call up an old friend. I'm very lucky to have friends who were good examples to me. I've had some great friends over the years and they have all impacted my life in some way and I'll never forget the good ones.
#13- Modern Medicine. I'm go thankful for modern medicine because I can't imagine having a baby with out it... Thank you epidural!
#12- My Extended Family. Cody and I have the best family in the world. They are always there for us and such great examples & those nieces and nephews are so fun to play with!
#11- The Temple. The temple is so awesome. I learn something new every time I go and I grow closer to my husband each time we spend time in the Lord's house. Its a great place to search for answers and get results.
#10- My sisters. Even though me and my sisters haven't always gotten along, they are there for me when I need them & they make me look like the best driver in the world compared to all their bad driving records... ha ha!
#9- Prayer. Its a great blessing to know that when I'm having a bad day I can as my Heavenly Father for help and for guidance. Feeling the warmth of his love through prayer is like nothing else. The power of prayer is great!
#8- My Grandparents. My grandparents rock! They are like second parents to me and have taught my sisters and I a lot. My grandma Carma has taught us the power of family and My Fisher Grandparents have taught us how to work and care for animals.
#7- My little house. It might not be huge or even big at that, but out little apartment is quaint and cozy. Its a great place to just chill and relax and get away from the world, even if our neighbors are crazy!
#6- The opportunity to be a Mother. It is truely the best thing in the entire WORLD! I feel so blessed to have been able to have a baby. Feeling that little person move and grow in your belly is breath taking. But the very best part is having that little person to love and teach.
#5- Cody's Mom and Dad. Dave and Carrie are such great grandparents. They love all their grandchildren so much and they raised a wonderful son. They are so loving and they are always willing to help out and lend a hand.
#4- My Mom. She is always up for a good crafting day or a day of shopping. She's always there to listen and can take my bad crafting projects and turn them into something great!
#3- My Dad. My dad is always there for a good laugh and I admire his knowledge of the gospel and willingness to serve. He taught my sisters and I how to work in his ol' butcher shop and how to appreciate what we got by working hard to get it.
#2- I'm so thankful for Miss Dallie Jo Stacy Pehrson. She is the cutest little girl I know and she just makes everyday a joy. Her smile lights up the room and she makes any situation better by her fun personality and cuteness! I love how she gets so excited when I pick her up and how she lays her little head on my chest to give me loves.
#1- My Cod-Man. He is the best dad and husband. He loves his little girl so much that is it unreal! He works so hard to provide for our little family and I'm so thankful I am able to be a stay at home mom. Not all mothers are able to do that and my sweet husband works so hard to make this possible. He has taught me a lot in just the short time we've been married and I can't wait to spend eternity with him and my baby Jo.

Sometimes life can be Cruel!

I am finding that sometimes life can be very cruel. Young people dieing, love ones getting sick and babies being lost. I am SO VERY GLAD that I have the knowledge of the plan of salvation and a testimony in the gospel. Knowing that some day we will see our love ones again and that God has a plan for all of us. He is always watching over us and when we are sent a bad/scary situation another good moment comes along.

I remember when my Aunt Stacy was first diagnosed with cancer. I didn't really know what Leukemia was, but I knew it wasn't good. As the time passed and she'd get better, then getting sick again; I remember thinking how our Heavenly Father would let my loving Aunt go through that, how he would just let her suffer, and begging to let me take her place. But that wasn't his plan, he wasn't letting her suffer, he was bringing our family closer together, helping us to grow our testimonies in eternal families and life after death. After Stacy passed away, I remember telling Chase, you WILL see her again someday and I still believe this. She is watching over us and helping us everyday. When my little sister rolled my parents old blue truck the other day she said she just felt a warm feeling come upon her and she knew everything would be okay, I believe that my Aunt Stacy was taking care of her and the spirit was verifying she will in deed be okay and to stay calm.

This last weekend, a young boy from Altamont was killed in a car wreck and it has brought huge grief to our community. He was such a wonderful and loving little boy and he will be greatly missed. Its hard to understand why young kids are taken but that is Heavenly Father's plan. It pains him to see us suffer but he will send happy days again, he always does and in all these situations there is something to be learned and purpose behind all hard times.

I thank my Heavenly Father every day for the trials I have and the knowledge to understand them. I pray that the Miles family will feel our Heavenly Father's love in their time of need and know that they will someday see their precious Jaxson again. I know I will someday see all my past love ones and I am so very grateful Cody and I are sealed together, it gives me the strength I need to get through everyday fears and trials.

Crazy, Funny Dreams!

Last night I had the funniest dream and it contained quite a few of my good friends.
Started out like this:
I was walking through Jubilee and I passed this creepy Indian man (NOT my friend) and as I did, he smiled and pointed toward the meat department. I turned and looked and then glanced back to him and his hair had turned from a silver to a bright red!
I continued on. Next I saw my friend Sharrie and she did the same thing, but as she pointed to the meat department, the manager of the store comes over the intercom and says, "For your listening entertainment, the one and the the only REBA will be helping the the Meat locker today!" Sharrie then replies, "Its so awesome!" Then her hair turns red!
I quickly run to the meat department and when I arrive there the butchers were all jamming out and even the cows they were cutting were dancing around (Freaky!, I know!) 
I then see a women that looks like the lady that plays on the TV show 'REBA' with Reba named Barbara Jean (she has long blond hair and is really tall)... as she turns around I notice it is my friend Danielle and she runs up and we start singing and dancing and the next thing I know Danielle's hair is turning red and my hair is turning blond!
Awe I screamed! I'm like Barbara Jean off of REBA, It can't be true!

Then I was awakened by a little cry from Dallie Jo....

It was a crazy, funny dream and I'm surprised that I actually remembered it. It makes me laugh because as I got up to feed Dallie I said, "DANG I wish we had Reba come to our shop!" (PS my dad has a part time butcher shop that all my sisters and I had to work in...)

BUT the best part of the WHOLE NIGHT was when I got into Dallie's room and turned on the hall light, she gave me the biggest smile I have ever seen and she gave me a big wet kiss on my cheek!

I Love being a Mommy, Even if it has made me loose my brains and have crazy dreams!

Just Stuff!

Here are just a few things on my mind lately:
-I can't believe its NOVEMBER! One month until my birthday!
-I'm very excited for THANKSGIVING. Last year we had Thanksgiving at my parent's house, and boy, oh boy, I love my mom's cooking! I hadn't found out I was pregnant yet, but I knew something was 'different' because I wasn't able to eat seconds on Turkey Day!
-I kinda hate that the stores are bringing CHRISTMAS decorations out all ready... Its kinda a Love/Hate relationship right now!
-I was talking to Quincee who say: You're OLD when you're married... So I guess I'm old, does that may me REALLY old now that I have a baby?
-For the last few weeks I have been wracking my brain thinking of a good CHRISTMAS PRESENT for the Cod-Man. I ask him what he wants and he wants a Canadian Bear Hunt... I then ask him what he would you like that we could afford? So if you anyone has any ideas for me let me know.....
-I just recently was called to be the 1st counselor in the Young Women's, and I guess I never knew what my old YW leaders went through to fulfill their callings. From lessons, to meetings, to activities and always wondering what we could to do help these young women. Its becoming to be very busy! 
-Little Dallie Jo is GROWING so fast. I think she must be in another growing spurt because she has started to eat more and longer lately. Its a good thing I'm nursing her, she would eat us out of house and home if I had to buy formula!
-My sister Ashley is finally on the Down Hill of her pregnancy. I think Dallie Jo will be very excited for Jaxie Dawn to get here, then she won't get pulled apart being passed from one person to another. (PS Ash is due the first part of Feb; Like 90 something days left)
 -I constantly worry about GERMS. I am constantly wiping things down, asking everyone who holds Miss Dallie if they are clean or sick. I really just don't want her to get sick. I'm afraid that if she does, I won't know what to do.
-So Cody and I decided to sale my JEEP thus meaning we're going to have to find a new car... UGGG I hate car shopping. Its kinda fun that we're getting a new one but the ones we want are kinda expensive, and we're very 'tight with our money people', so we want something VERY Nice but we want to pay nothing for it!.... Do you think we'll find something? Probably not!
-I think baby NAP TIMES are a must! THE END! ha ha
-I want to find an AT HOME JOB to help me feel better about Cody being the sole provider. We are doing just fine with one income but I hate the feeling that I'm just freely living and not helping bring in money to build our 'dream' home! If I did find a job where I can take Dallie that would be sooooo great and our house would come much, much faster!
-And lastly... I went to the Holly Fair in Roosevelt and it has brought me to the conclusion that I kinda want to craft all year and have my own booth.... Good goal, but probably won't happen... We'll see!

We hope everyone had a

Spooky Halloween!

On the Eve of Halloween's Eve (get it?) We took Dallie Jo to her first volleyball game. She didn't love it too much. We went to watch my little cousin Rylan play (she did a great job!) and Miss Dallie Jo would get big tears in her eyes everytime someone would yell! Poor little thing.

The next day, Oct 30 we got up super early and headed to Altamont to help my Grandpa ship his calves. It was a great day, such good weather and just an over all great morning to ship calves. That afternoon as soon as they got done working the cows, and left the correls, it started to pour! Great timing!

I had such a great time dressing Dallie Jo up for Halloween! Just ask Cody, it was a hard decision deciding what costume to make her.

(And why I made her a cat costume is besides me, I seriously HATE cats! But my Kitty Kat was super cute!)

We had a great time. We had every intension to take her around to see all our familes' but she was just too fun to play with and this little kitty got tired and fell asleep. Hopefully next year we'll make it around.

Now what to make her next year! I can see Cody now, just rolling his eyes!

3 Months

Happy 3 Months Birthday to my Little Dallie Jo.

It's pretty crazy to think how fast time has flown since August 1st.

5 Things I'm loving about Dallie Jo:

#1: I LOVE how determined she is. She is determined to get her hands to mind her. She tires to had to grab things and when she does get hold of SOMETHING/ANYTHING it goes straight to her mouth!

#2: I LOVE how Chunker she is. She is a very healthy girl and just the right size. She's only three months old and she can wear a Carter's size 6!

#3: I LOVE her little smile! Every morning, not matter how tired I am, that little smile always makes me laugh!

#4: I LOVE to dress her up and make new shirts and hair bows for her. Her hair is starting to come back in, (she really didn't loose too much) and it kinda has a red tint to it.

#5: I LOVE how she looks so much like BOTH Cody and I. She is such a good mixture of both of us, we still can't decide who she looks more like! ha ha

Okay, just one more! #6: I LOVE to see the smiles she brings to others. Our families just love her and she can turn a bad day into a good day just by her smiles. Even when I'm in the store or at church she makes strangers smile and we are always being told how cute she is!

This is a picture of my friend Leandra Tew Call's little girl Sophie and Dallie Jo. We went to visit them a few weeks ago and I couldn't believe how much bigger Dallie Jo was than Sophie. Dallie is about six weeks older, but she looks like she is going to eat Soph for diner!
