Hunting

Like every year we go look for the big one and only find other hunters and baby bambi.......... But we always have tons of fun and enjoyed all our families.
This year we pulled our camper up to my Uncle Ray's camp site in Moon Lake and just chilled with the family.

My Grandpa Brent taking pictures. I snuck one of him! ha ha

Quincee in her hunting getup.... She looked pretty hot!
Grandpa Brent:"You know... you can see an hour later into the night when you wear these glasses."
Quincee: "Yeah I can see so much better, Too bad its light!"
Cody: " Yeah too bad its light out side so you can see with out them.... dang it!"
Just another little conversation where Quincee is always the center of all our jokes! We love you Quinc!

Quincee did get lucky and on the morning of the last day, she found this guy laying in my Grandpa's field and just dropped him there. She's pretty proud of him.

Elder Kjell Pehrson!

On October 10, Cody's little brother Kjell came home from his mission to Iowa and we had the privalige to see him at the airport and spend the weekend with the Pehrson Family. We had so much fun, we went to the Zoo, and then ate at the Rodizio Grill and then played all weekend with the family. I only got a few pictures but they're pretty fun!
I have such a goofy husband! But We love him!
Lexie and Cody, She loved the baby elephant! She would try to call the animals to her! Too Cute!

These little monkeys were so cute! There was so much love at the Zoo... If you know what I mean!?!

Miss Cutie Dakota and I on the Merry-Go-Round! She actually enjoyed it and we loved having playing with her. LOVE her hair!
This is Cody doing his bronc riding mark out on the merry go round. He's kinda crazy but I don't know what I'd do with out him!

So Welcome Home Elder Pehrson, and like the horrible picture taker I am, I forgot to get pictures of the person we were out there for! It was very nice meeting him and I'm sure he'll go on and do even greater things!

Colorado

Last month we went on alittle drive up to Meeker, CO to Ronny White's wedding.(old Family Friend)

Boy.... was it beautiful! On the way to the cabin where the wedding was being held there was a huge horse ranch with an indoor arena, an indoor horse walker and miles and miles of ranch! It was FOR SALE and I begged Cody to buy it for me, but we just didnt think we could pull together the millions, probably billions of dollars for it! Maybe Santa Claus will give it to me for Christmas (which is 63 days away! We have a count down in our office)
We had a great trip, and my mom even won $75 playing the scratch off games in the gas stations!
Maybe someday Cody and I will move to CO and live on that horse ranch... Our options are open! ha ha

A few weeks ago I talked Cody into going to to the city and going to the Oquirrah Mountain temple (Which is very busy, and you need to get an appointment to guarantee that you do indeed get in, luckily we did.)
Well on our way home we see a fruit stand and Cody LOVES FRUIT, and PEACHES are his #1 Favorite. So like the wonderful husband he is, he bought us two boxes of peaches! We had a ton, and we he was putting them in my jeep he said, "You know... I love canned peaches! And I love You! So....." ha ha so yes indeed I guess my first canning experience was kinda pushed on to me, but really it was kinda relaxing.... weird i know!

All in all, it was a good experience and very long and sticky, but I felt so accomplished when I was done, and they taste pretty yummy!

Loved Labor Day Weekend!

Well its offically September and of course I usually only get in one post a month... so here we go! ha ha

Well for Labor day weekend we had so many options and so many fun things we wanted to do so we had a hard time deciding on what to do....

On Saturday we rode into Brown Duck with my mom and dad and Quincee. We had such a fun time! It was a wonderful day for a horse ride....

The ride in took us about two and a half hours... a bit longer than we had expected. The first hour went by pretty fast but the second half was long and hard. Our poor horses were pooped out when we got to the lake.

The fishing was pretty good.... I'm not much a a fisherman (unless we're in Alaska), I like to catch the big ones.... the little guys we caught up there were so small that you could barely feel them hit your line. My parents were on a roll, they were catching them left and right... but as for me I just didn't have the touch, I caught.... none! Thats a sad story I know, but we had fun!

On our ride back to Moon Lake, it started to rain really hard.. and yes, Cody and I forgot our rain coats so we were pretty wet when we got back to the trailers! But it sure was good to get out of Roosevelt and do some riding!

On Monday, we brought my grandparents cows off the mountain. I love moving cows and bringing them home. I look forward to moving them up and then down every year!
While we were waiting for the rest of the riders to get off the mtns, Cody and Quincee decided they were going to team rope Rylan and I, I need to learn how to run faster... They headed and heeled me and stretched me out like a roping steer... I'm sure it looked funny, but it wasn't too funny to me!

On our way home from the mtn, this little tire blow out happened! Luckily we weren't too far from my grandparents house and not no one was hurt!

Ashley's new job... Horse Washer Women! Thanks ASH!

We had a great weekend! It might sound boring to you, but its what we love to do and we have so much fun doing it!
