Best Friends!

Dallie Jo and Hazlie
A few weeks ago at my sister Ashley's baby shower we were able to get Dallie Jo and Hazlie together. I always say that when I head to Altamont that I'd call and we'd get them together to play but time hasn't allowed that yet so we were happy to catch a few pics at the shower.
Hazlie is six weeks older than Dallie Jo.

Hazlie's BIG smile. Such a cutie!
Hi Friend!
Who do you want us to look at?
I think they look so much like Sharrie and I. I'm sure we have similar picture from when we were their age.
These two were too busy looking at everyone to smile or even really look at the camera.
Dallie Jo just wanted to grab and chew on Hazlie and Hazlie just wanted to look at her.
They are so Fun!

Cody's Mtn Lion

Last weekend Cody and his Dad, Dave took off on a little hunting trip up to Meeker, CO.
Cody has a friend from school that lives up there who took him to find his cat.

Cody and his friend Donald Hobbs
(on the bottom, I don't know the other two that were with them)

And what did Dallie Jo and I do while he was gone? We stayed home and crafted with Grandma Carrie.
Cody's mom, Carrie came and stayed with us while they were off playing. We had a great time and Miss Dallie Jo loved every minute. She loved that there was always someone to play with and she got held all weekend!

I think Cody had a pretty good time, he must have since he's going back up there this weekend to play again. It was so funny seeing how excited him and his dad were. They were both so eager to get going and excited to tell us the stories. He wishes he could have found a bigger one, but he said this little female had great coloring and was spicy from getting harassed by the dogs. (and where they went hunting, the landowner said they could get them if they killed whatever they treed because he wanted them all gone.)
Cody said that this cat had just killed a deer and you could see where she had drug it; about 100 yards UP some steep cliffs. When the dogs had her up the tree she was hissing and growling at them. She'd run down the tree trying to scary the dogs but they just kept her up there.... I would have been out of there!

I'm glad he was able to find one. He deserves a little getaway for how hard he works... All. The. Time!
Now the trick is how to keep him home?! He thinks he needs to go with Donald every weekend now...

#11

 My Auntie's the BEST!

Isn't this the cutest thing you've ever seen? I think so.
I made this little shirt for Dallie so she can go cheer on her Aunt Quincee at her High school basketball games. She wasn't so sure at the first couple games but she loves them now. She watches just like a regular little fan and everyone adores her! (I think there might be more Dallie watching than basketball watching.)
Dallie Jo and the Best Babysitter ever, Rylan!

Quincee and her Littlest fan, I mean BIGGEST Fan!
Of course there at ten million more pictures of her at the ball games, but these are just a few. I actually caught my mom video taping Dallie Jo instead of Quincee. (Sorry Quincee!)

Go Lady Longhorns!

PS. My older sister Ashley and her husband Wayne are expecting their first baby in about two weeks. We are so excited for them. It will be exciting to have another baby in the family and I'm excited that I'm not the one have it! Good Luck Ash!

2011 Resolutions

Every year I set resolutions and usually a few stick and a few just get set aside. So this year I'm going to try and make them all work out!

So here we go:

- Keep my house up. Not just during the week but through the weekend so I don't hate Monday clean ups so much!
- Keep up with laundry and put it away after folding. (I actually did really well with this last year, no more laundry as couch decorations.)
- Eat more healthy. This not only effects me, but little Dallie Jo. I know I've eaten something not so healthy when I smell little Missy. She gets a smelly bum when I eat junk food or drink pop.
- Save lots of moola so we can pay lots down when we start to build our house.
- Keep my truck clean, not just to my standards but Cody's clean truck standards... he's kinda particular.
- Lastly have lots and lots of FUN. Enjoy the small stuff and forget the stupid.

Happy New Year everyone!
Have a great year and keep up on your won resolutions.

Bath time

I imagine Dallie will be so ticked at her Mom for putting these pictures up,
But who cares.... Kids are always mad at their parents and I just couldn't resist!

Dallie Jo still loves her bath so much.
She no longer fits in her little blue tub so she just splashes away in the big tub like a little fishy!
When 6 O'clock rolls around she is READY for her bath.
She starts getting a little fussy and just pulls at her clothes. (Sometimes)
Its funny how she has her own little daily routine.

Look at those Chubber Legs...  Pretty Sexy!
No one else probably things these are funny, but it was hilarious in person.
She kept smiling (of course not for the camera) and flipping her head back and forth like she was flipping her long flowing hair! (I wish she had hair to flip, its S.L.O.W.L.Y coming in) ha ha
Love that girly!

5 months

My 5 Month old Baby Jo!
Tomorrow Dallie Jo will be 5 months! Time is seriously FLYING!
Love her too much, she my little lover bug!

 New things about Dallie Jo:

Since Dallie Jo's 4 month checkup at the first of the month, she has gained 14 oz! She's now 16 lbs 13 oz. (that is with her clothes on, we went in for a check up due to a cough)
Dallie Jo has discovered her tongue, she blows bubbles all the time. And when she doesn't want to do something or wants some attention she sticks it out and makes little sounds. Too cute!
Dallie Jo doesn't like rice cereal, but she does like Oatmeal!
Dallie Jo still loves her daddy. She watches the door at night waiting for him to come home.

Dallie Jo still hasn't rolled over by herself, but she does almost sit up.
Dallie Jo loves her cousin and really likes to watch little kids. She is Rylan's girl whenever she is around.
Dallie Jo is a little FLIRT! When I took her to the doctor, she was acting all shy and smiling so big for him. When he was listening to her lungs/heart she layed her little hand and just gazed at him. She does the same thing with her daddy, grandpa and uncles.

Our little Dallie Jo is one loved little girl! She got so many kisses over Christmas that every time someone would go in to give her a little love, she'd squint her eyes, anticipating the kiss. Too Funny!
Love you Little Missy, You have made our family so Happy!

Happy New Years Tomorrow! Bring on 2011! Hopefully its as great and 2010 has been for us!

Christmas Day

This Christmas was so, so, so very Special!
It was Dallie Jo's first Christmas and we had a great time spending it with my family.
Grandma Angie and Grandpa Gary gave Dallie Jo her first horse. Its too cute! She was pretty amazed with it. She loves to hear it neigh at her and she just smiles while riding it.

Cowgirl Dallie Jo
Cody saw this at AA Callister and he just had to buy it for her.
We Start 'em Young!

Mom and Dallie Jo opening presents.
She loves the crinkle of the wrapping paper and the shininess of the ribbons.

Grandma Angie and Dallie

Grandma and Grandpa Mathews
Don't teach her that, I don't want her to walk, I just want her to say little!
I couldn't resist this picture, Daddy is so funny!
Thanks Grandma Pehrson for my new bath towel
(Its so big and warm and we love it!)
Granny Great and Dallie Jo
Kisses for Granny Great!
She's our little Rhinestone Cowgirl!

We had a great Christmas and I'm so blessed to have the family I  have. No only did they spoil us rotten but they show us so much love and support in all we do.
Dallie Jo got a new rocking horse, lots of clothes, books and a few toys.
Coder got some new church pants, socks, a work vest, candy and we got him a fancy headstall.
I made away like a bandit, Coder totally surprised me and got me a very high tech sewing machine. This machine is awesome! It can do everything. I'm so excited to find some time to learn it.
And as a Family we got cooking pots, a cute little fireplace heater, and some food.
And speaking of spoiling us rotten, Cody's parents gave us a cruise for Christmas! The family is still deciding between Alaska or a Mexican Rivera cruise.

Needless to say, our Christmas was Great! Having a baby to buy for was so fun. Every store we would go in, either Cody or I would find something she JUST HAD TO HAVE!
She'll be super fun next year. She'll probably walking and we'll have half decorated trees and torn wrapping paper every where!
