Whistle While You Work

Dallie Jo is forsure a Daddy's girl!
We are always whistling at her and telling her how cute she is, so instead of learning to talk she's learning to whistle. If you really listen, you can hear soft little whistles....

and her smiles just keep getting BIGGER!

ALSO yesterday I was asking Dallie Jo to say MAMMAMAMAMA, but in stead she said DADADADADA..... Yep, For sure a DADDY'S GIRL!

State Basketball 2011
This last weekend we traveled down to Richfield to support my little sister and her basketball team. I think they ended up taking seventh or something.... They should have done better but that's all in the past!
While down there we stayed with Cody's little brother and his family and had a great time.
We took Miss Dallie Jo swimming for the first time and we were SHOCKED that she didn't like the water.... she just cried and cried. But of course even though she was crying we had to take some photos because it was just so cute!

Look at those legs! It took two of us to get her into the tight little swimming suit
Daddy and Dallie Jo
I'm not sure dad!
Not liking this!
I really don't like this, get me out!
Cute even when she bawls!
I'm not sure if she didn't like the sound, the smell, the water temp or the tightness of her swimming suit.
We sure loved that little suit! It showed off her curves, OH SO WELL!
Hopefully she'll like it better, because I plan on swimming alot on our cruise that Cody's family gave us for Christmas!

Valentines 2011

Better Late than never....

Lover's Day 2011
So I'm kinda a hopeless Romantic, I LOVE when Cody sends me flowers. And he always sends the best!
This year, I very surprised. I didn't think he was going to get anything because he had been so busy with work but he always surprises me. Not only did he send me a beautiful bouquet but he sent Miss Dallie Jo one too.
FUNNY Story: when the lady came to deliver the flowers she brought up Dallie Jo's and left. I was like well I guess I'm not his Valentine.... Then the lady came back and brought mine.

For Cody's gift I made him a nice Steak diner, a cheese cake, homemade oreos, chocolate covered strawberries and Dallie Jo gave him some kiss balloons.

All the lilies are opening and they smell so good!
Dallie Jo's flowers and bear

And the reason this post is late is because I have been busy making this little shirts for my Mother in law's hairstylist. They turned out pretty cute but took forever because I haven't had very much time to finish them.
I always get worried when I make them for others to buy, because I never know what they like and if they'll like them.

I've also been busy doing some embroidering on some bags for my sister's basketball team. They headed off to state yesterday and the mothers always give them a Good Luck Gift.
AND of course Dallie Jo always keeps me busy!
I hope everyone had a great Valentines and remembered how much and what made you fall in love with that special someone. Have a great weekend!

Birthday Boy!

That's right! Its my Cod-Man's birthday!

Things we love about Cody:

- Best Daddy in the WORLD!
- He is the hardest worker I know, he goes nuts if he doesn't have anything to do. And unlike alot of other people, he does the job the way its suppose to be done.
- Cody pretends to be Mr. Hard Hearted but really he's a softy, you should see how he is wrapped around our little girl's finger.
- He laughs at my jokes, even though they are usually lame.
- He accepts everyone the way they are. He's not one to judge a 'book by its cover'.
- I love how excited he gets when he gets to go Hunting.... Its cute!
- Loves me for me, even when I'm in Crazy Mamma Mode.

- Did I mention He's the BEST DADDY IN THE WORLD?! Well he is!

Happy Birthday Daddy, We LOVE You!

Dallie Jo and Jaxie

On Valentines day Dallie Jo got to meet Jaxie for the first time.

Kisses...

Dallie Jo was so gentle, Its like she knew she had to be careful! Usually she wants to grab, pull, taste and eat other kids but she was very nice and calm with Baby Jaxie. I can't believe how big Dallie is compared to Jaxie. Dallie Jo was 8.8 pounds when she was born and Jaxie was 7.6, but she's very petite! All her fitures are very petite and small, every thing but her feet! ha ha, I thought Dallie Jo's were big when she was born but Jaxie's look as big as Dallie Jo's are now.... Probably not but they look about as big!
Dallie Jo looks like a mini giant next to Jax!

Family time

Conversation between Cody and I.

Cody: Dallie Jo, You're so DAMN Cute!
Kandice: I think she just might be the cutest baby I've ever seen!
Cody: Well yeah, she's my baby.
Kandice: Yeah right, I baked her...
Cody: Well, I gave you the Recipe!

Love that MAN of Mine!
And Dallie Jo is going to grow up saying her name is Damn Cute Dallie Jo... Cuz she gets told that all the time.

After 15 hours of being at the hopsital, an epidural, lots of patience and one c section later....

Little Jaxie Dawn Marx made her appearance Thursday, 02/10/11; 9:02 pm; 7.6 pounds; 19.5 inches; and a little bit of long RED HAIR!

She is such a little blessing. She sure took her own little time, but finally she's here. Wayne is so proud, he just kept saying "Hi Sister, You're perfect, just perfectly beautiful!"

About 8:30pm they called me and asked me if I'd like to watch the csection, I wasn't so sure at first but I'm SUPER glad I did now. Its so awesome to see that baby take her first breath and watch trained professionals do their jobs. Totally makes me want to go back to school to become a nurse.

Congrats to Wayne and Ashley, She's pretty cute! (but I do know one other baby that is cuter! ha ha) And she's very strong, she was picking her little head up and looking around. She could find where the person who was talking was and didn't cry at all! Even with the shots, the pounding on her back to get the fluid out and all the passing around; just a few little cherps. And she's a good little eater all ready, she knew exactly what she wanted and knew how to get it, I know that has to be a HUGE relief for Ashley.

Welcome Little Jaxie Dawn,
Dallie Jo can't wait to play with you!

I also think Dr. Williams and the nurses at UBMC deserve a shout out, You're so good and it comforting to know you do such a good job at your... Job! THANKS!

Pictures to follow, of course my camera died as soon as I got there, but Wayne has taken enough pictures and video to last us all!
